I have been saddened by Zuzu's disappearance and ultimate death. I supported the first "Go fund me" page when she disappeared and raised some money to support the tremendous ressources used, parents trips and housing, as well as their grief. However, I do not understand why now that she has been laid to rest, 2 other " Go fund me" pages are still up ?

Wow. I dislike to begin with. The second one at least looks legit. The first one has zero donations and looks sketchy to me. I agree with you, there comes a point where you have to ask when is it time to shut requests down. I have become fully jaded to these pages, which is a shame because they could be a lifeline for victim families in times of need.

If supposedly it is generated from the family, I agree with you that it needs to be gently shut down for future family that would face same despair and urgent needs as they did in the first place.
If not generated by the family, maybe they should know about it, so they can take action.

That being said, I am all for Zuzu's current raising funds ( Scholarship, Planted trees in Israel etc....) that have a posthumous moral causes, but not those that possibly seek to make profit.

These links are for the same page called "Justice for ZuZu" started by a friend? on behalf Glenn Verk on 10/18. The first link posted is the "donate" page. The second link is the home page. I don't know how this page relates to the first page you supported. I don't have a link for that.

There are 26 updates since 10/18, so it seems that it has switched from a page supporting the search to a page helping after her death. I agree that it should be taken down, but I wonder if the Verks know about it and/or remember it exists.

ALPINE -- Chris Estrada, the other suspect in Zuzu Verk’s disappearance, was formally indicted by a grand jury in Alpine Friday, according to Alpine Chief of Police Russell Scown.

Estrada was indicted for tampering with or fabricating physical evidence by concealing a human corpse.

He currently remains at the Presidio County Jail on a $500,000 bond.

Estrada was arrested in Phoenix, Arizona in early February.

Both Estrada and Robert Fabian, the on-again, off-again boyfriend of Zuzu who has been charged with murder, are being kept separately.

A call has been made to Estrada’s attorney and CBS 7 is waiting to hear back from him.

On Friday, March 18th Robert Fabian was indicted by a grand jury for murder in connection with the case.

His bond now sits at a total of $925,000.

ALPINE --
Chris Estrada, the other suspect in Zuzu Verk’s disappearance, was formally indicted by a grand jury in Alpine Friday, according to Alpine Chief of Police Russell Scown.
Estrada was indicted for two counts; tampering with physical evidence/corpse, and tampering with evidence.
He currently remains at the Presidio County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
An indictment alleges that Estrada was aware that Zuzu Verk had been killed, and buried her body in a hidden grave to hamper the investigation.
The indictment also alleges that Estrada hid bed linens belonging to Robert Fabian and a cell phone and car keys belonging to Zuzu Verk to hamper the investigation.
Estrada was arrested in Phoenix, Arizona in early February.

How can you consensually hid these elements when tremendous amount of ressources are used for months to find a missing person and on the same time appear on several Media with a smirk trying to "clear" your name and "set the record straight" ?
