A look back at newly-indicted Chris Estrada’s accounts of Zuzu Verk’s disappearance http://www.cbs7.com/content/news/A-...ts-of-Zuzu-Verks-disappearance-417849463.html
ALPINE --
On Friday, an Alpine grand jury indicted the second suspect in the case of Zuzu Verk.
Chris Estrada was indicted for tampering with a corpse and tampering with physical evidence, but he anticipated this day would come.
Since the beginning of Zuzu’s disappearance, Estrada has been open with the media and police, hoping to clear his name.
However, that plan hasn’t quite worked out.

It breaks my heart to see Zuzu referred to as a corpse. I hope justice is swift and so very stern.

Chris Estrada formally indicted by grand jury http://www.cbs7.com/content/news/Chris-Estrada-formally-indicted-by-grand-jury-417812783.html

ALPINE -- Chris Estrada, the other suspect in Zuzu Verk’s disappearance, was formally indicted by a grand jury in Alpine Friday, according to Alpine Chief of Police Russell Scown.

Estrada was indicted for tampering with or fabricating physical evidence by concealing a human corpse.

He currently remains at the Presidio County Jail on a $500,000 bond.

Estrada was arrested in Phoenix, Arizona in early February.

Both Estrada and Robert Fabian, the on-again, off-again boyfriend of Zuzu who has been charged with murder, are being kept separately.

A call has been made to Estrada’s attorney and CBS 7 is waiting to hear back from him.

On Friday, March 18th Robert Fabian was indicted by a grand jury for murder in connection with the case.

His bond now sits at a total of $925,000.

Back when we first saw the photo of RF in his pink jail jumpsuit, it triggered a memory of an article I wrote way (way) back in the day about another sheriff's decision to use pink in his county's jail. Rather than sharing my article, so I can maintain my anonymity here on WS, I'll share this: http://www.cbsnews.com/news/texas-jail-is-small-but-in-the-pink/

In Mason County, Texas, inmates "wore pink jumpsuits and pink slippers, and one was wrapped in pink sheets. They were surrounded by pink bars and pink walls."

No word yet in MSM. I don't use FB. There could be word there. I think there is a FB group for Zuzu and a page for the sheriff's office.

"...So right now it's not looking good evidentiary wise Mr. Estrada..." http://www.cbs7.com/content/news/Ke...ris-Estrada-to-Zuzu-Verk-Muder-424242093.html

"We found later in the investigation a hair that was found in Chris Estrada's car," Barr stated in a sworn testimony. "Mitochondrial DNA is consistent -- analysis is consistent with that as being the same maternal line as Zuzu's mother. So right now it's not looking good evidentiary wise for Mr. Estrada and his participation in the context of the crime."

Makes you wonder what they may have found if he hadn't had the car cleaned!

Scary to even think about it.

I'm wondering which part of this makes him think that there's any possibility of him getting off? Besides his narcissistic ego, I mean.
