Tybee- One year already :(

I can't believe it's been a year already. Prayers for all those who knew and loved her. She's definitely missed by many!

I think I have turned into what you all call a "lurker" this past year. I log on some times when I miss Joyce something awful and read the old threads but I don't sign in. Rest assured, she is in our hearts here and still in our stories. I was telling one just tonight that I don't think I shared before.
My husband bought her a flask that looked just like a cell phone. We filled it with rum and took it out to Huckapoo's one night and set it down next to her. About an hour later, I picked it up and handed it to her and said, "Someone is calling you on my phone." She kept saying, "Hello, hello, and shaking the dang thing, saying, "Who is calling me on your phone." She did catch on but it took a while and we did "get her." She never told you all the stories when she "got taken."
She is safe in our hearts here.

Thank you so much for sharing that story with us. She was such a special woman and her stories where like no other. She had such a great sense of humor and a way with her words. I wish I had met her in person.

What a nice story and thanks for sharing with us! :) It's hard to believe she's been gone a year now, but I know she's with the angels even though she's missed so much here.
