A not uninteresting bit of "UFO" footage from the Sun, here, allegedly taken near the spot the BBC reporter made his sighting.

I'm gonna call hoax on that. JMO

The aliens have landed: Amazing footage shows 'little green men walking about after UFO touchdown'... but why does it always happen in Siberia?

By Sarah Graham

For an alien looking to explore Earth, the frozen wastes of Siberia may not be the most attractive of landing locations.

But if this film footage is to be believed, that's exactly where these 'little green men' chose to land their UFO.

The clip, filmed in the remote Irkutsk region of Siberia, appears to show a strange glowing craft and five aliens walking about in the snow....

I'm calling BS on this. Why would the camera man move the camera away from the craft and at the house?

That's okay, my geography is so bad that I was thinking they were separate. Went back and read the Daily Mail article and I guess they're talking about the same one.

And today in Daily Mail we find....

Pictured: The UFO-shaped object found at the bottom of the Baltic Sea...
covered in soot, with 'little fireplaces' and lying at the end of a 1,000ft runway

Skeptics expected that a deep-water dive would debunk the a slew of extra-terrestrial theories surrounding an unidentified object sitting at the bottom of the Baltic Sea.

But the Swedish expedition team that took the plunge surfaced with more questions than answers - and certainly no solution to its origins.

The divers found that the object [....] was raised about 10-13 feet above the seabed and curved in at the sides, giving it a mushroom shape.

They added that the object has 'rounded sides and rugged edges'

'First we thought this was only stone, but this is something else,' diver Peter Lindberg said in a press release.

At the center of the object, which has a 60-meter diameter, has an 'egg shaped hole leading into it from the top'.

Surrounding the hole, they found a strange, unexplained rock formation.

Adding fuel to the speculative fire, they said that the rocks looked 'like small fireplaces' and the 'stones were covered in something resembling soot'.

'Since no volcanic activity has ever been reported in the Baltic Sea the find becomes even stranger,' Mr Lindberg continued.

Was it tested to confirm that it was soot or is it just something that looks vaguely similar?

If aliens put something sooty in the bottom of the sea, how long would it stay looking
like that?

I guess if they got it tested and found out that it's just an old sediment formation they might not like to say:

The company have created a submarine that they hope will appeal to tourists and wannabe shipwreck hunters who will pay to take a trip down to the bottom of the Baltic Sea to see for themselves.

Could it be something related to the Ice Age? The vast moving blocks of ice changed the landscape quite a lot and created some strange rock formations.

'UFO' at the bottom of the Baltic Sea 'cuts off
electrical equipment when divers get within 200m'
(Daily Mail)
The divers exploring a 'UFO-shaped' object at the bottom of the
Baltic Sea say their equipment stops working when they approach within 200m.

Professional diver Stefan Hogerborn, part of the Ocean X team which is exploring the anomaly, said some of the team's cameras and the team's satellite phone would refuse to work when directly above the object.

'Anything electric out there - and the satellite phone as well - stopped working when we were above the object.

'And then we got away about 200 meters and it turned on again, and when we got back over the object it didn’t work.'

Nazis and UFOs - the stuff of which tabloids are made.

Sonar scans show that 'UFO' at bottom of Baltic sea may actually
be a top-secret Nazi anti-submarine defence lost since World War II
(Daily Mail)
• Object is raised about 10 to 13ft above seabed; curved at the sides like a mushroom
• World War II expert says object may be Nazi anti-submarine weapon
• Wire meshes could be used to baffle submarine radar and make them crash
• Area vital to German war machine
• Object has wire meshes - which could explain why dive team's equipment failed
• Divers say phones and some cameras switch off when close to the object
