High-tech DNA could ID cold-case ‘Asian Doe’ Gilgo Beach victim: DA

DNA technology used in the Gilgo Beach serial murder case could solve the decades-old mystery of “Asian Doe,” whose body remains unidentified.

Indeed - I think WGS against the Chinese databases - which I’m sure must be massive and really well annotated due to a lower degree of concern for the integrity of the individual - is the only way to ensure likely expedient progress.

Still, they could get lucky without it. You never know. Maybe test against Michael Pak and his possible trafficking entourage while they’re at it.
