Thoughts and prayers going up for those affected by yet another tragedy. I certainly have more words than these, but i can't post them here.

DH and I attended the sold-out U2 "Joshua Tree" concert last evening at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA. This could have easily happened there. I'm thankful it did not.

Senseless Acts like this simply defy understanding.

Again, my very heavy heart is with Family and Friends of those affected.

CNN has just had a very emotional mum called Charlotte on, who has lost contact with her 15 year old daughter Olivia, she was at the concert and it is absolutely heartbreaking. Her daughter's phone is going to voicemail.

I'm not surprised. Unfortunately the security services don't have the resources to follow everyone on the terrorist watch list. I wonder what impact this will have on the general election election here in less than two weeks.

No, luckily they turned out not to be at that venue after all. This young lady is Olivia, the one whose Mother C. Campbell was talking live on CNN asking for anyone knowing her daughter's whereabouts to get in touch
. It was absolutely gut wrenching, so hoping she is located soon. Just wanted to help, posting this pic of her daughter is all i could do.

At some point, we HAVE to talk about the 'why' this happens. I just don't know if I have the energy for that right now. Praying for the families of the lost, missing, and injured, those who witnessed the attack, the city of Manchester and the UK, the first responders, Arianna Grande and her team, and all of the folks who have stepped in to offer rides, water, housing, etc. So so sad.

I heard on CNN Ariana's bodyguard saved a young man having an asthma attack during the attack. I'm so glad he was able to help, the young man must have been very distressed. Thank you to all the police, emergency services and hospitals too.
