Reminds me of Boston - when they used something to detonate nails, etc. But how would all of that metal get past security? Or was it placed in a speaker or something before the concert? How monstrous! Especially at a concert where there are young kids.
Inhumane and barbaric. I am still shocked.

My heart goes out to the loved ones of those who died. I can't even imagine what they are going through.
Praying for strength and comfort for them and for all of the victims.

'Young girls with blood on them' - Witness

Eyewitness Sasina Akhtar told the Manchester Evening News: “She did her last song, we were in the lower tier and there was an explosion behind us at the back of the arena.

“We saw young girls with blood on them, everyone was screaming and people were running. There was lots of smoke.”

I can't understand this either - none of us can - because we don't have thoughts or plans to hurt people. We just help people.
It's in our nature to help people so we will never in a million years think like they do.

This reminds me of the Boston Marathon bombing and I really believe they will catch who did this heinous, murderous crime.

Pretty sure it was a) outside and b) after the concert, not during.

been seeing on twitter a lot of trolls making fake appeals to look for fake little brothers/sisters (using images from google) - making twitter, which is usually a great way to communicate during unfolding events like this, a lot less useful.

There was at least one explosion, according to the venue, outside as concert-goers exited. GM police refer in singular regarding the number. Attendees have described hearing two, and even three, separate explosions.

Yes. And this way they didn't have to worry about getting past a metal detector/bag check to enter the arena. Last time we were at a baseball game I was thinking how easy that would be. We were all packed in, everyone worried about their own bags, tickets, and where they were in line, some of us wrangling children. You could walk all the way up to the crowded entrance carrying absolutely anything.

The security minister, Ben Wallace, has called for vigilance. He calls the incident an attack; police have said they are treating it as possible terrorism, but we are waiting for confirmation.
