After letting out a string of words I can't type here, as a European I just feel the same way as all the previous attacks in the past few years. Powerless, impotent, angry, confused, and worried for the future. Again there are a great number of deaths to mourn. Again the fascistic backlash while wondering if there isn't more we can do to seperate the well-intentioned from the IS sympathisers. If we can't protect ourselves and still prevent our society from closing down and losing the moral high ground of treating fellow human beings with decency.

And again wondering when it's the Netherlands turn and we really start to feel like we can't go to any event without fear. Bloodthirsty extremists have pulled this **** at concerts, parades, christmas markets, stations, just about any kind of place where a lot of people gather and celebrate. As long as we keep sticking it to them and keep living and keep our resolve to stay civil, I suppose there is hope.

But I expect a half dozen bottles of mead this evening and I feel tempted to down them all tonight. This **** is making me so angry and upset. And yes, I am aware that these attacks occur in the middle East as well, with greater frequency and victims than in Europe, but it seems to be going up and the tensions are rising both ways. I really worry when there are going to conflicts of hatred in Europe in response to all of this.

A “beautiful little girl” has been named a victim of the suspected suicide attack after the Ariana Grande concert in Manchester that has left at least 22 dead and 59 people injured.

Eight-year-old Saffie Rose Roussos, was at the concert with her mother Lisa Roussos and Saffie’s sister, Ashlee Bromwich who were later found injured in separate hospitals.

Really, there are no words ........ RIP Saffie Rose 🤬🤬🤬 heartbreaking 🤬🤬🤬

My life experience has shown me that there are far more good and kind people on this earth than evil.

So thankful for that and always thankful for you all on here.

Because I thought of the majority of people who are good and who are surrounding the people there with great love and comfort, I was able to sleep last night.

I still am shocked at this atrocity and I know I am not alone. The compassion and kindness is great on this thread, as it is on other threads.

There is always someone kind and understanding on here and I so greatly appreciate that we are able to grieve together when these horrid and inhumane crimes happen. I am thinking of everyone here.

Prayers of strength, love and comfort to all. If I could share the heartbreak of anyone who was affected by this, I surely would.

"The family of an eight-year-old girl missing since last night's devastating terror attack in Manchester have issued a picture of the youngster in a desperate bid to find her.

Saffie Rose Roussos went to the Ariana Grande concert at the Manchester Arena with her older sister."

Dear littlemo2015,

My heart is so saddened at what happened, as others around the world are.

We stand united, together, against these evil acts. There is always more good than evil in this world.

Sending prayers of strength, love and comfort to all.

i will do my best to do so if i get to go ahead to do it , kinda need some one to help with it though as not 100% sure what to do . thank for supporting my idea , there isn't much else i can do to give some sort of help, so the media thread is what i thought of doing to feel useful.

We'll all help where we can. This will be a long investigation as he must have had accomplices.
Eta I heard on BBC radio that this was the anniversary of the Lee Rigby killing so am checking that out.
