A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man and woman in their 70s died at a house in Sheffield.
Police were called to the property in Terrey Road at just after 10:15 GMT on Sunday.
A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said both the deceased were "critically injured" and they were pronounced dead at the scene.
A 51-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody, police said.

A man has been charged with the murder of a man and a woman who were found dead in Sheffield at the weekend.
Officers were called just after 10.15am on Sunday (27 November 2022) to a report of a concern for welfare at a property on Terry Road in Dore.
Emergency services attended and found a man and a woman, both in their 70s, with critical injuries. They were sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
James Andrews, 51, of Reney Avenue, Sheffield, has been charged with two counts of murder. He will appear at Sheffield Magistrates' Court this morning (29 November 2022).

 
A 51-year-old man has appeared at court charged with the murder of his parents, both of whom were found dead at their Sheffield home on Sunday.

The defendant, who has been named by police as James Andrews but whose name appears as Duncan Andrews on court lists, appeared at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court this morning (Tuesday, November 29) charged with the murders of his parents, Bryan and Mary Andrews. Duncan Andrews, of Reney Avenue in Greenhill, Sheffield, was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Sheffield Crown Court tomorrow (Wednesday, November 30).
