Just seems like a dogpile of blind hatred masquerading as virtue to me. None of them seem to know anything about the case.

The family of Abi Fisher, formerly Richardson, have issued a new photograph and tribute to their “beautiful angel.”

The tribute says:

“Our beautiful Abi. Words cannot describe how utterly devastated we are at the loss of you. We miss you dearly. We promise to make you proud every single day, and will continue to bring up your amazing little baby girl the way you would.

“Heaven may have gained an angel but we have lost you and that for us seems like the most unjust act to happen.

“We as a family would like to thank every single person who showed enough heart and love to look for our precious angel. Words will never describe how much this means.

“For now our beautiful angel. We love you so Much Log in or sign up to view

Oh, no. Poor Abi. RIP.

8:15 to 9:15 is an awfully specific request. They definitely have a clue what happened, where, and when.
Likely cell site, mobile or vehicle GPS data.

Abi Fisher's family paid tribute to a 'beautiful angel' after her body was found on Monday and her husband is accused of murder

A husband has appeared in court today accused of murdering his wife after her body was found in a country lane on Monday six months after the birth of their daughter via IVF.

Matthew Fisher, 29, is charged with the murder of 29-year-old Abi Fisher after she disappeared from her home in Castleford last Friday, sparking a major search operation.

Dressed in a prison issue grey jumper and jogging bottoms and wearing a face mask, Fisher spoke only to confirm his name, age and address when he appeared at Leeds Magistrates Court this morning.

He was not asked to enter a plea during the brief hearing and he will appear before Leeds Crown Court tomorrow.

During today's hearing, District Judge Charlotte Holland told Fisher: 'This case is too serious to run in this court.

'You will be sent to Leeds Crown Court at 9.30 tomorrow. You will remain in custody until then.'

She worked hard to have that baby, and life with her daughter was torn away from them both. It's heartbreaking.

“….He was due to appear via videolink this morning at Leeds Crown Court from prison where he is being held on remand, but was excused after testing positive for Coronavirus.

However, the preliminary hearing went ahead in his absence and the court was told a psychiatric report on the 29-year-old is due in August, with a pre-trial preparation hearing set for September 13.

A possible trial could take place in January next year.
There was no application for bail and Fisher, of Walton Park Street in Castleford, was remanded into custody again.”

Fisher called West Yorkshire Police on July 9

The court has heard that Fisher reported Abi missing on the morning of July 9. He told West Yorkshire Police that he was "concerned for his wife." He told the force that he had woken up and could not find her.
He said that she had not taken her car and had left her mobile phone.

Fisher's car was seen on CCTV

Fisher's car was seen on CCTV leaving the Castleford area after 4am on July 9. He drove along the M62 to South Yorkshire - where Abi's body was later found - and was seen on CCTV returning at around 9.30am.
His phone was later analysed. Fisher had been searching the internet for West Yorkshire Police, South Yorkshire Police and BBC News on July 9.
Mr James Lake, prosecuting, said this was "plainly efforts to see if her [Abi's] body had been discovered."

Police tracked phone signal to body

Signal from Fisher's phone between 8.20am and 8.56am led police to an area in Brierley, South Yorkshire. Abi's body was found partially covered in bushes near a layby. Fisher's fingerprints were found on tape near Abi's body. The court has since heard, through victim impact statements, that Fisher hid his wife's body in that area as he had played in those woods as a child.

Multiple injuries

Abi had suffered multiple blows to her head and face. There was "very significant evidence" that her neck was forcibly compressed. The judge has heard the injuries to her neck were considered 'typical of strangulation'

Many lives in tatters
The judge said: "You have murdered your wife, the woman you loved. You have left your daughter without any parent to care for her. By your actions, you have taken one life and left the lives of so many others in tatters."
He warned Fisher that he would not emerge from prison for a very long time and will be 'supervised' for the rest of his life.

A MONSTER husband who strangled his wife to death just six months after she gave birth to their daughter has been jailed.

Matthew Fisher murdered Abi Fisher, 29, then hatched a gruesome plot to cover up his crime.

The 29-year-old reported the primary school teacher missing and issued a desperate plea for information on Facebook.

He wrote: "Has anyone seen Abi if you have can you please let me know or get her to give me a ring."

In reality, Fisher had dumped his wife's body in undergrowth 12 miles from their house in Castleford, West Yorkshire, where chillingly he used to play as a child.

[...]

Fisher has now been jailed for life with a minimum of 15 years after previously pleading guilty to murder.

Sentencing, the judge said: "You have murdered your wife, the woman you loved.

"You have left your daughter without any parent to care for her. By your actions, you have taken one life and left the lives of so many others in tatters."

Following the sentencing today of Matthew Fisher for the murder of Abi Fisher, her family have given the following statement:

Abi’s parents (Andrea and Michael Richardson) and her brother (Nathan Richardson) would like to thank the judge and CPS finding and sentencing Matthew James Fisher guilty of murdering his wife of 5 years, Abigail Elizabeth Fisher between 8th and 9th July 2022.

We are extremely grateful to West Yorkshire Police for their hard work and dedication in finding Abi’s body so quickly and in gathering enough evidence that Matthew Fisher could be charged speedily.

It has been a terrible time for the family, and they would like to praise their Police Family Liaison Officers for their kindness and understanding and for keeping us informed of developments in the case in such a timely manner. They have been very supportive throughout this whole ordeal.

We would like to thank all the court staff for ensuring the smooth running of the proceedings, the prosecuting counsel and his staff for their roles and the Judge for showing consideration for all the people who attended court today.

Finally, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the police who searched for Abi, our friends and family and to all the people from Castleford and surrounding areas who spent hours and hours searching for our baby girl. You have no idea what it means to us as a family to know so many people cared enough to spend their time looking for her.”
