Have just seen this: Body found on beach: Family of Inverness teen Adam Mitchell “absolutely gutted”

The article is from yesterday and states that the body hasn't been formally identified yet, but that his family have been notified.

Gosh. He's over 100 miles away.

I'm going to assume this is Adam given what the family have said, and in a way, if this had to happen, I hope they can take comfort that he has been found (on a beautiful beach no less) and is not lost to the sea forever. RIP Adam.

I've only just read about Adam's case this morning.
Sorry to hear this news. If it is Adam, I also hope his family can take comfort from his body being found.

It's to do with the tides. There was a case last year where a young man went missing from Embo and his body was found in a harbour 70 miles away in Aberdeenshire. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-highlands-islands-34222786
