POLICE have issued an urgent appeal for information to help them locate a missing man after growing ‘increasingly concerned’.
Adam Smith, who has links to St Helens, was last seen on Friends Lane in Great Sankey, Warrington, at around 3.15pm yesterday, Thursday, January 27.
The 30-year-old is described as white, around 5’ 9” tall, of proportionate build with short brown hair, brown eyes and a beard.
He was last seen wearing a blue coat and grey tracksuit trousers with a black stripe down the leg.
Adam lives in Great Sankey and is known to have a number of links to the St Helens, Huyton and Knowsley areas of Merseyside.
Inspector Michelle Boyd said: “Officers have been searching for Adam since he was reported as missing and so far to no avail.
“He is a vulnerable man, and we are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.
“I would urge anyone who sees him not to approach him but to call us immediately on 999.
“I urge anyone who thinks that they may have seen Adam since he went missing to get in touch with us.
“The same goes for anyone who may have CCTV or dashcam footage of him since he disappeared.”
Anyone with information or footage that may assist in the ongoing search for Adam is asked to call Cheshire Police on 101, quoting IML 1187521.
