Omg that’s awful. (Well, it all is.) He staged Alesha’s body. For her to see? Just when you think you’ve heard all of it, another dimension to what he did emerges.
Yes i know. Truly awful.

I don’t think anything surprises me anymore, this is by far the worst case i’ve followed on websleuths though.

Makes it worse it happened in my home land:(
I know that feeling.

Yes I do wonder if he hoped she'd find Alesha, sort of "look what I can do" OR I wondered if perhaps the girl kind of hero worshipped him but had recently lost interest in his tales or bragging and his ego couldn't take it so he thought "I'll show you! "

He's sick enough for either I think
I think you're on the right track there. He's egotistical for sure.

Yes, it is a waste of a life. Or at least the youth of it. I imagine he’ll be out in 14 to 25 years depending on how well he can convince the parole board. I think there is a limit to the length of sentence he will receive as he IS only 16. And I think that’s as it should be. I don’t want to live in a country where children are sent to jail for life. I do want to see the public protected. So the supervision needs to be very close indeed.

And I don’t doubt that something happened in his life that has at least contributed to this appalling deed. At one point he was a victim. That doesn’t excuse his actions as the rest of us don’t take our pain out on others. But it can help perhaps explain the perfect storm that led to this. And I hope he finds some purpose and healing in his years of imprisonment. For everyone’s sake.

There is no “beginning point” to these cycles of abuse. Only end points as more and more people throw light on darkness, refuse to stay silent and always prioritise the needs of the most vulnerable in any abusive situation.
Hi Owlpellet, you state in this post “at one point he was a victim”. Has this information been released via MSM or is it your opinion based on info? Thanks

Just my own opinion based on the nature of his offence, his reported anxiety and self-harming, and I suppose some of the speculation we’ve engaged in earlier, regarding other activity on Bute, including historical cases of sexual offending.

I personally think that the anxiety and self harm(I haven't heard of any evidence of this, just speculation from friends) were all part of his act,the arrogance and confidence he showed by standing up in court and brazenly lying and showing no remorse for his horrific actions,or even any emotion that he had ruined his own life doesn't strike me as an anxious character in the least.

Maybe.

He’ll probably meet a few people inside who’ll make him feel anxious though.

Same here. I can usually detach myself but not with this case.

Omg, so she’s going to visit him for answers. I hope he gives them to her, not that there is anything he can say to make it any better but I hope he isn’t a Brady and taunts the victims
Family for years. Poor genie :-(

Have you read the full article? She said he smiled at her and her family when found guilty. Total psychopath, he enjoyed every minute of what he put the family through at the trial.

Oh my god no, I’ve just finished reading the whole thing. He turned around and smiled at her... I’m in shock. He is even more warped than I thought if that’s even possible. I don’t even think she should go visit he would probably buzz off it

OMG, so creepy it gave me goosebumps.
Yeah. Very creepy. Apparantly he was tearful when the judge overturned his anonymity status.

I agree. I think he would enjoy it or enjoy having the ball in his court. Will he accept a visit or will he not? He'll love that.

Yeah that’s the first time I’ve heard about him showing any emotion. The media didn’t report he was tearful when the judge decided to release his name, he’s shown no remorse only self pity.

Poor Georgina actually believed his incrimination story at first, i think she was just very confused and of course, bereft.

I reckon this is the start of a media 'build up' in the week before sentencing. I think we'll see more stuff in the MSM over the next week.

I think it just makes no sense how he got her out the flat without 4 adults hearing a thing, so people started to believe maybe it was an inside job and he was telling the truth about Toni. It seems him taking the stand was his downfall though, I’ve read from a few journalists he came across as really cocky and arrogant with zero emotion in the witness box, I mean if I was on trial for raping and murdering a 6 year old and I didn’t do it, I would be in bits throughout that trial. He even leaned in as the pictures of aleshas body was shown, it’s just so disturbing
