Police are appealing for the public’s help to locate a missing man from Slough.

Thames Valley Police has shared an appeal for help in locating Andrej Mucha, 57, of Polish descent.

TVP added that they were ‘looking to speak to him to check on his welfare’.

Anyone with any information should call 101 and quote reference 1096 of 30/12/2021.

Thames Valley Police is continuing its appeal for the public’s help in tracing a missing man from Slough.

Andrej Mucha, aged 57, is described as white, around 5 ft 7 ins tall, of slim build. We do not have a description of his clothing at this time.

He is known to frequent Slough.

Andrej was reported missing on 30 December 2021, but his last known contact with his family was on 29 November 2021.

Investigating officer, Sergeant Chris Jones, based at Slough, said: “We have been carrying out a number of enquiries to trace Andrej since he was reported missing and there have been a number of unconfirmed sightings of him.

“We are appealing for the public’s help in tracing Andrej and we would ask anyone who has seen someone matching his description or anyone who may know where he is to please get in touch.

“Anyone with information can call 101 or report through our online pages quoting the reference 43210585228.”

“Two months’ on we are appealing for the public’s help in tracing Andrzej and we would ask anyone who has seen someone matching his description or anyone who may know where he is to please get in touch.

“Anyone with information can call 101 or report through our online pages quoting the reference 43210585228.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder in Slough.

Today (20/7) a 32-year-old man from Slough has been arrested on suspicion of one count of murder, he remains in custody at this time.

The arrest is in connection with the disappearance of Andrzej Mucha, aged 57 from Slough who was reported missing on 30 December 2021.

Senior investigating officer, Detective Chief Inspector, Dejan Avramovic of Thames Valley Police’s Major Crime Unit, said: “We have today launched a murder investigation and arrested a man on suspicion of murder in connection with the disappearance of Andrzej Mucha.

“Work has been ongoing to locate Andrzej who has been missing now since December, however there has been no proof of life since the 29 November 2021.

“Search activity and other extensive lines of enquiry have been undertaken over the past seven months to locate Andrzej but so far he has not been located.

“I would like to again appeal to the public to come forward with any information they may have in relation to the disappearance of Andrzej.

A 32-year-old man arrested in connection with the disappearance of a Polish man has been released on bail.

Andrzej Mucha, 57, from Slough, was reported missing on December 30, 2021 and hasn't been seen since.

Thames Valley Police said they have been working to find Andrzej but there has been 'no proof of life' since his disappearance.

Adrian Pietraszewski, aged 25, of no fixed abode, and Tomasz Grzegorz Weiss, aged 33, of no fixed abode, have both been charged with one count each of preventing a lawful burial of a dead body and perverting the course of justice.

The charges are in connection to a murder investigation launched by police following the disappearance of Andrzej Mucha.

Mr Mucha was reported missing from Slough, on December 30, 2021, with his last known contact with family reported to have taken place on November 29, 2021.
