Personally I still can't see he went in/fell in the water accidentally. I don't know why....he would have been totally out of his right mind if that happened.

Does anyone else think this statement from Anthony’s fiancée is odd? :

“If he is watching and you’re thinking ‘Oh I can’t go home, this is too big now’, honestly, you don’t realize how many people want you back regardless of the situation you left - if that is the case.”

Aren’t these elements strange?:

If ‘he’ is watching - very impersonal language

‘This thing is too big’ - what thing?

‘You don’t realize how many people want you back’ - what about how much you, his fiancée want him back?

‘the situation you left’ - what situation?

‘If that is the case’ - very business like and impersonal

Yes I think the same but when I mention anything I get reported by the inspector Morse's on here. The police are very clever, they will have looked at this, heard it. Thought the same.

New theory: could he have tried to make his way back to one of the previous pubs (Landsdown Arms, Royal Oak)? Lost his way? Couldn't find the way back?

As an aside, looking at the several cctv clips I found myself puzzled that this was described as a very busy night when everyone and their uncle are out for Xmas drinks/dinners/shopping/socializing etc. To me it looks like the dead of night. If I hadn't been told I would have thought the footage was from 3am or 4am. I expected crowds of people, heavy traffic etc. Instead we have one van passing a couple and someone standing opposite, or three people walking down the sidewalk in a dark empty street ....

Then got an Uber to Lewes which is 50-60 miles away from home, so there's an hour travelling. They probably didn't get to Lewes until about 2.30pm. maybe after. People still at work till 6pm.

I can't find it now but it was very clear.Hes walking in front. Looks like a takeaway he's carrying to be honest. He might have gone to get something to eat and was on the way back to the Lamb pub.

You are mistaken. There was never any such footage please stop spreading false facts - or provide a link to support your statements.

It was an easy meeting point, they work in London but live all over on the outskirts- that’s what we were told anyway. Dogtopia however pointed out there is a good real ale pub crawl- so maybe it was that.

It was my speculation, also not really relevant to any of the facts of the case at this time- therefore I raised it as a point. This small thing I said the took over as people were discussing job roles etc- not actually going to help in the bigger scheme that’s all. We can politely discuss anything if we state it’s an opinion and it’s not offensive or victim bashing. If we want anything to be acknowledged as more than a personal opinion you need evidence to back it up.

I see two videos. One is Anthony talking to people outside a pub in daylight hours, before his disappearance. The other one is from 7.30 pm or thereabouts when he walked behind two people carrying plastic bags. He doesn't have any bag. Unless there's another video nobody but you has yet seen ....

I thought it was him carrying the bag and 2 boldish blokes are behind him. Trying to catch him up, if you can tell me how to send the footage I will. I have screen shot it but I can only send it via email or wattsapp or messenger. When I try download it to drive and send it I get an error message all the time.

AK SEEMS TO TURN AS IF TO WATCH THEM BUT CARRIES ON WALKING. THEN ONE OF THE MEN MUST SAY SOMETHING TO HIM BECAUSE AK TURNS AGAIN AND LOOKS LIKE HE SPEAKS. THEN THE VIDEO GOES OFF. You've been absolutely adamant that Anthony is carrying a bag - but that is just not so(in any CCTV) . The guy and female ahead of Anthony(second bit of footage) are carrying what looks to be white bags(possibly from the takeaway) .
I'm really not sure what you think you're seeing , but whatever it is , it's just not there .
