Sky News just said he is a well known local man, when mentioning his name to residents they were shocked.

  • #262
He has 2 children, and one of his children were playing with April when she went missing

RAF Sea King flying over the area, police search teams and heat seeking devices being used.

Now Sky are saying he's the father of one of the children April was playing with?

WHOA.. didn't see that one coming

anyone know anything about this *person*

All I've been able to find is:
He's married, and has children.
He likes camping, and owns a caravan.
Lives in Machynlleth

That beautiful sweet town is never going to be the same again :(

Sky News just said they believe he split up with his girlfriend a week ago

At one time he was a lifeguard at the pool in the town

That's a little odd to me, because wouldn't that child have been able to tell police "April got into a van with my dad" and then police would have, from the start, knew exactly what type of car the man drove, his name, etc. and would have issued a BOLO? Right?

That would be his trigger... in the crimes spotlight on children's forum, I've seen that a lot of sex offenders have them... something "makes" them snap and offend

Not especially
She was playing with a group earlier and then all the other children went home except April and the 7 yr old witness.
It is possible though that the 7 yr old said Yeah Amy's dad got her, or someone with the same truck Amy's dad has.. something like that

I did hear earlier a few friends were playing with April, most of them left before she was abducted.

I got the impression just now from sky news that the Police knew who they were looking for, so maybe she did

Oh ok, I didn't realize that. Thanks!

A report earlier today said that the cops had been looking for that specific guy cause they thought he might know something. So sounds to me like maybe one of the kids did tell them who.
IMO they didn't tell the public cause they didn't want him knowing they knew.

This is what I thought too.... now we know he is the Dad of one of little April's friends, it makes complete sense how they knew exactly who they were looking for and found him so fast!

Good on that little girl for being so brave!
