i was reading up on the shannon matthews case as that too involved the largest ever hunt by that police force utilising three quarters of the country's police dogs and hundreds of officers with thousands of house to house inquiries and searches over 24 days. In the end a member of the public noticed something odd which led to finding shannon. this happens in many cases, a person walking their dog for example stumbles across a body as happened with the jo yeates case. I also read that most people which disappear are found between half and one mile away from where they went missing. Here is hoping people will be vigilant and that she is found soon whether alive or not. i notice there is no reward put up in this case by the papers as they have done in the past, that might be because there is a suspect charged though.
Eta just in case anyone thinks Im suggesting this is a case of fake abduction like in the shannon case, no Im not. i googled it to compare the hunt, how long it took, and resources used and how she was eventually found. But I do think someone else knows something.
Eta 2, thanks for extra info and comments on psychics earlier peeps
Ah yes, Shannon Matthews. Tia Sharpe. Am I allowed to ask what they roughly had in common?
