Well, that's it.

So sad the family has no closure.

This makes me sad and gives the impression they have given up looking for April. But in reality the search isn't over until they find her - they've just run out of places to look right now.

Sometimes it's difficult to stay within ToS when speaking about the disappearance of a child so I'll keep it short - MB really needs to start talking and if he won't do it of his own accord, he needs some serious 'encouragement'.

Jury to be selected on Monday next, 29th April, at Mold Crown Court, with legal arguments being heard on Tuesday. The prosecution case against Mark Bridger will open on Thursday and the case is expected to last 4-5 weeks:

While I dont agree with most of our justice system I have no doubt he will be found guilty, it's what comes with the guilty verdict I probably won't like.no doubt something like a lousy 15years or something

In front of a packed public gallery, trial judge Mr Justice Griffith Williams told them: “I don’t know whether you have been reading the papers or listening to the news.

“But if you have, you have probably worked out by now that I am about to start the trial which arises out of the alleged murder of April Jones in Machynlleth last October.”

Tomorrow the jury will be whittled down to 12 by ballot – they are expected to visit various sites in the Machynlleth area during the trial.

Three weeks of evidence will be heard until May 24 with an expected end date of June 14.

Since we know virtually nothing of either the prosecution case nor the defence, I'm bemused as to how you can be so sure of a guilty verdict. He has "accepted that he is probably responsible for her death", but that is a long way from proof that he murdered her.

If he is found guilty of murder he will get a life sentence: that is mandatory.

I agree. Every time I see her parents my heart absolutely breaks.

To me its clear that he didnt run over her but who knows what the jury will believe.
