If ET’s admitted personality disorder is indeed narcissistic personality disorder, (she is giving every indication that that is what it is and she will have been advised by her counsel I imagine not to disclose that), the situation will be as such:

ET does. It love it care for anyone at all except for herself
Every action (good or bad) by her is a means of constructing her False Self and False Reality
So, even if she is nice to her own kids, that is not because she actually loves them, it is she is an expert actress and uses this as a means to manipulate them, and any onlookers, that she is an “amazing mum” (to quote TH) and to prop up this false reality she has constructed. A false reality in which is is all she wants to be, beautiful, clever, amazing mum etc etc.

All of those closest to her, especially TH, will have to 100% believe in this false self, and the entire false reality surrounding this. The proof is in the evidence, despite all her behaviour that TH has observed first hand, he called her “Mother Teresa” to police. He is not telling lies, he is exposing the level of Stockholm syndrome she has inflicted upon him. He is showing he inhabits an illusory world entirely of ET’s creation, every utterance of his is a delusion, the puppet master is ET and TH has lost touch with reality a while back.
Not to excuse THs behaviour at all, and choice to stay.

ET has used the following tool expertly:
Manipulation, gaslighting, triangulation, isolation, painting herself as victim, love bombing (to both TH and Arthur initially) coercive control, emotional blackmail.

this has all be done by her deliberately, expertly, naturally and easily.

The house of cards she built started to fall in court when she admitted in court under cross examination she is guilty of cruelty and her behaviour was disgraceful. This is HUGE for a narc and I’m amazed she said it. She was trapped in corner and will never have been in this position before in her life.

TH testimony may well have been the last straw and I suspect narcissistic collapse is well underway.

I pray this does not derail the trial in any way and she’s locked up for life in a prison and not a mental hospital.

If the trial does derail, then I would not be at all surprised to realise that she knew exactly what to do in order to derail it.

The trial can continue without her present if it has to.
Also. The police would not release anything that would jeopardise the case.

Narcs/abusers can even be jealous of their own biological children taking attention away from them. I’ve personally experienced this.

Yep. I have a narcissistic mother and she also absolutely hates me and my siblings having any contact with each other. Narcs aren't like "normal" people (for want of a better expression) everything is so twisted

I also have a narc mother, although I’m an only child on her side of the family. I’m the scapegoat. I also had a BPD/narc ex. Both were/are abusive.

As I have never met such a narc person, it is all really interesting to me.
Isnt this condition a severe mental illness?
Is such a person delusional? Believing in this false reality?
Does she do it consciously?

Another thing - she attempted a suicide in the past.
Is it possible for a narc person (who seemingly loves herself above others)?

Or maybe such a person hates herself and creates idealised reality b/c the real life is unbearable?

I've had two relationships with narc/BPD too. I think by having a narc mother we're "groomed" to be the perfect target - taking responsibility for others' emotions etc and trying to please. My siblings are like performing seals, always trying to get approval - I've backed away a lot now

Diagnostically personality disorders are separate from mental illnesses such as schizophrenia. The simplest way to explain it is elements of a persons personality taken to the extreme. In the case of the narcissist is their own self importance, to the exclusion of anyone else’s needs. My way or the high way type of people.

I think ET has BPD and Narcissistic PD or at least traits of NPB. I don’t think she’d brag to a jury about having NPD.

Diagnostically personality disorders are separate from mental illnesses such as schizophrenia. The simplest way to explain it is elements of a persons personality taken to the extreme. In the case of the narcissist is their own self importance, to the exclusion of anyone else’s needs. My way or the high way type of people.

When she called Arthur a "satan", "evil" it seemed she hated him with all her being, as if she really believed that a small boy could crash her ideal world.
I know that it is classified as a disorder.
But to me it seems something more, as if such a person is living in paralel reality.
