'COPS have released eerie CCTV footage of a student running down the street before he mysteriously vanished.

Aryan Sharma, 20, was last seen in the early hours of November 23 on the outskirts of Loughborough, Leicestershire, at around 12.30am.'
''He left his accommodation at around 9.30pm and was last spotted walking towards Stanford-on-the-Soar before he disappeared.
The “devastated” family of the Loughborough University robotics student have said they “just want to find him safe”.

Leicestershire Police has now released footage of Aryan jogging along a road in Loughborough town centre as the urgent search for him nears its second week.''

“We just want to find him safe. He’s loved by this family. He is an older brother, he’s a cousin, he’s one of the five boys of this family.

“Our biggest concern now is that no one in the family has spoken to him since at least Friday.

“It’s been really cold since he has been missing, and we haven’t been able to get in contact with him. We just want him to be okay, and we want him to come home to his mum.''

The operation includes specialist underwater divers, police helicopters, officers in canoes and specialist search teams combing the area.

He was walking towards the Stanford on the Soar area, having been in the town centre a few hours earlier.

Extensive enquiries have been carried out to establish Aryan’s movements that night, but the police are still keen to hear from any motorists or pedestrians who may have seen him walking along Meadow Lane, Stanford Lane or the surrounding area between 12.15am and 2am on Saturday morning.

The investigation team are encouraging drivers to check their dashcam footage around this time.''
