A woman has appeared in court accused of cleaning up a property after the alleged murder of a 'loving dad' in Manchester.
Stephanie Lester has been charged with assisting an offender in connection with the death of Ashley Walsh in north Manchester in January, this year.
Mr Walsh had gone missing from his home in Failsworth, Oldham, on January 7 and was last seen alive on Kintore Walk, Collyhurst, at around 11pm.
The 34-year-old's body was later found a short distance away in woodland at Sandhills Park on January 17.
Two people - Aaron Evitt, 33, of Brentnor Road, Moston, and Gerrard McGlacken, 45, of Kintore Walk, Collyhurst - have since been charged with his murder.
Ms Lester is accused of cleaning up a property 'with intent to impede the apprehension or prosecution of a person who had committed the offence of murder', between January 7 and January 14.
The 31-year-old spoke only to confirm her name during a brief hearing at Manchester Magistrates' Court yesterday afternoon, April 13,
MEN reports.
The case was adjourned until May 18 at Manchester Crown Court, and Ms Lester, of Lancashire Hill in Heaton Norris, Stockport, was granted unconditional bail.
A trial has been provisionally set for Monday, July 4.
