Dates change again

Bernadette Walker, 17, jumped out of her parent's car in Skater's Avenue, Walton on Saturday and was was reported missing on Monday, her mum explained.

Saturday was 18th, not 19th as per July 27 report

Latest reports ( September ) said they reported her missing on Tuesday 21st

so seems there was some confusion with dates early in the investigation

Joint enterprise is where someone can be jointly convicted of a crime committed by someone else. So possibly one of the parents killed her and the other went along with it.

Which tbh was always the most likely explanation of this horrible case.

Has it been reported when she was last seen before the supposed jumping from a car?

Officers have been searching an area of open land criss-crossed by farm tracks and waterways around Cowbit near Spalding, Linconishire, roughly ten miles north of Bernadette's home.

Police are expected to spend up to several weeks carrying out searches across a wide area stretching several miles.

[...]

Ms Walker who works as a care assistant at a home for the elderly is a mother-of-ten who gave birth to her last child, a baby girl, in June this year.

Maybe the poster who joked that they should have said eight children instead of nine, was correct. There were 10 children, now there are nine. Or perhaps she had 10 children as stated in the article, but together they had 9.

In layman's terms, it means someone can be jointly charged/convicted of the crime of another individual, if it's decided they foresaw that the other person was likely to commit the crime.

If the tears during the court case were from remorse, why has SW not confessed where the body is? That bit doesn’t make sense to me.

Maybe she's just sad for herself. Realising they haven't got away with it. The end of life as they know it. It's hard to fathom though I know.

Could the baby be Bernadette's? She threatens to tell of abuse so he decides to silence her, mum goes along with it because she loves him and/or doesn't want to break up rest of the family

Yes but wouldn’t someone have reported to the media by now about seeing Bernadette pregnant recently and not seeing Sarah recently pregnant?! I think this would be more likely perhaps, if he was her step dad.
