The older brother's social media posts just scream being in denial to me, the poor kid. I know it's hard to accept that your sister is gone, especially in such a horrible way and with no body as definite proof. However, I doubt ScW would be being charged with her murder unless they had pretty solid evidence he did it even without a body and I would imagine that evidence is being kept under wraps until trial.

I imagine it must be very hard to reconcile what the police are saying vs what your mum (the person you love and grew up depending on) is saying. Our natural tendency is to put our trust in our family and parents. No one can blame BW's family for wanting to believe the best & holding out hope. I think that anyone who might be called as a witness might not find out all the details and evidence until the trial. My opinion only

Agreed. If SaW is still insisting she sent the fake messages but didn't know BW was dead then there's every chance she'll have convinced her children of the same thing. And who wouldn't want to hope and believe their sister was still alive and well somewhere?

Ignoring ScW's charge(s) of perverting the course of justice, if he's found guilty on circumstantial evidence alone (ie. pleads 'not guilty' and no body is found), will he get a lesser sentence?

Can somebody remind me when is it the trial starts please ?

No, if there's enough evidence to find him guilty I don't see why not finding the body would make any difference to the sentence.

This might just be me looking for something that's not there but I have come up with a new theory as to where BW may be.

I've been scouring ScW's Facebook again as I just know I keep missing something but can't figure out what. Again this is just my own idea, my own theory.

I've read so many times about killers leaving clues for whatever reason, perhaps ScW has and we didn't even know it? First, BW wasn't reported missing for three days, but the day after they say they last saw her ScW seems to beging putting pictures of himself and BW on Facebook, BW isn't a common feature on ScW's Facebook before this really.

Then ScW Facebook bio is changed to something along the lines of "appreciate what you've got because tomorrow it'll be gone" or something similar.

Then he uploads a picture of his children at what looks like sand dunes. This may have been before BW even went missing but it just seemed odd to me. So I looked into it and it looks like Norfolk Sand Dunes, just over an hour's drive from Peterborough and many bodies have been hidden there in the past and many other bodies have turned up there.

Have the Police looked as far as Norfolk Sand dunes?? Seems like an almost Ian Brady kind of thing to do, take a picture of a burial site without anyone knowing it's a burial site.

Again, just an idea I've had.

I think that's very possible. At first I thought they couldn't have had Bernadette's body in the car with the other children there, but then I remembered there was a caravan parked in the parking area right behind their house in the early photos.

It's also there on google streetview with a car similar to the one they owned parked in front of it (I think that's the car that was removed right around the time of the arrests). There is a car shaped outline (is that moss or a water mark?) in front of the caravan in the press photo above, and the caravan appears to be inside a police cordon. : Google Maps

@Akid95 have you thought about contacting the police tip line with your information about that area? Would that be Holme Dunes?

From the article: Anyone with information should contact police either by using the online webchat function, or by calling 101 and quoting Operation Penshaw. Photos show murder investigation underway at home of missing Cambs teen

It's moss I'm afraid but good spotting!! I don't think the caravan had anything to do with it. They claim she got out of the car but that doesn't necessarily mean it was their own car, perhaps they were in someone else's car or whatever, I'm not sure on that part of it yet. What I do 100% believe in my heart yet have no proof of is something happened between BW and her parents the very moment they claim she ran from the car, when actually she was driven away, murdered and hidden and I'm so sure it's somewhere around Norfolk Sand Dunes.

I don't get the impression ScW is stupid enough to use his own car, perhaps before the argument happened he already knew what he was going to do to her? Or maybe there was no argument at all, she was just told they'd been spending quality time together away from the younger kids, car doors locked, driven away, murdered somewhere and hidden.

There was an article on the Norfolk Sand Dunes recently of tunnels opening up, the article was to stop children and people digging up there as it's dangerous and the tunnels could collapse or you'd fall in. She could be down there?

That link doesn't work
Ah maybe it's expired. It seems as if 101 might be the only way at this stage, unless I find another online link that's still working.

Thank you but it's ok, I'll give them a call as it'll be easier

Anyone seen the new missing posters circulating social media? Find it a bit unusual they’ve specified the £5000 reward is from SaW?
