Is pjetergjokaj a polish name ? Could Sarah not have this friend accompany her to the Polish ex's house ?

no it’s a kosovan or Slavic name. We have a large Albanian kosovan community in Peterborough (well all communities actually!) plus you have to be careful in assuming migration started in 2001. Loads of polish have been coming to uk for centuries and the names may be passed down.

either way, it’s not hard to find someone who does speak polish (theres 3 down my street and one at work!) and I’m sure someone could say “is my daughter there?” If they wanted. I also fail to believe someone is living in uk and doesn’t follow very basic English. But there’s a lot about this story that is made up

Just knocking on the door and saying the ex's name, he will speak English.

Exactly, if you knock the door and start speaking English, worse case scenario is she will call her son and then the problem is solved. It’s almost like she made no attempt to find her daughter but multiple attempts to prove she was still alive. Interesting…

As I suggested earlier in the thread, SaW has an alibi for the text from BW's phone on the 19th from somewhere near the prison. It must therefore have been ScW. However, she knew that it couldn't be from BW as they had her phone. So she lied nonetheless and the text may have been planned to give SaW an alibi.

So SaW told her friend that she agreed to lie for ScW re the listening to the conversation of him and BW in the car about how the abuse allegations were made up. Why would she agree to say that lie? It was either as part of the cover up of the murder or as I have been thinking for some time now that it is cover up for the abuse allegations. Could we effectively have two overlapping cover ups?

The text from near the prison was on the 19th. BWs phone was permanently disconnect at 1am on the 20th. If she told the friend she had got a text from BW while she was there visiting on the 20th it was either a lie or was a text from someone else but she told friend it was from BW.

Thanks. I realised that after I posted. Couldn't be 20th as the phone had been disconnected for the last time by then. I've edited my post.

Hold on, I'm confused. Is this not the same text that was sent from near the prison when SaW has at her friends house? There must be a reporting error on the date. It has to be the same event on the 19th.

Yes could be an error. But this friend said nothing about SaW leaving her phone behind which seems strange? If it was the 19th then the message had to be sent by ScW he must of left his own phone at the lockup to give himself an alibi.

no I believe they have reported it wrong. Without knowing where the friend lives (and no sleuthing allowed) I would say it’s the same friends house but they are trying to get another alibi. The text which was definitely sent was from Westwood on the 19th. Whatever was sent on the 20th wasn’t from bw phone as it was long gone by then.

the problem with serial liars is that their stories stop making sense eventually. I’m struggling to follow too

Not sure if this is allowed but the friend in court yesterday is English, married to an Albanian.

So does that mean there are two friends; one on the 19th with a text from BW's phone and another on 20th which was just made up (police will no doubt have her full mobile record so the evidence should easily reveal this to be a deliberate deception). Did they disclose where this latest witness lives and the time of the text?

It just seems a strange thing to say. Why would it cross her mind to recommend it?
If she hadn't been caught yet for the first set of messages from MOO it feels like she may have been planning to set some up to prolonge police thinking she was alive. I could be wrong, but it doesn't sit right with me.
Yes very strange . How would BW be able to do this with no phone and no money to buy a new one?

Was the new sim card they bought ever used or do LE not know any more about it? Seems likely to me that it was intended as a 'burner sim card' to be used to continue the lie that BW was texting SaW.

hence the surname. Good shout in recognising the name ;) polish names tend to have a lot of k, Lithuanians z and kosovans/Albanians j. Not a proven method but I was right this time

I don’t know. The problem is up to the trip to cowbit they were clearly using that phone to send alibis and create a story. After it disappeared, she went to her friends house and claimed to have received a text there and then. That’s clearly a lie, how she lied and if it’s linked to the text actually sent the day before in that area is hard to follow.

that’s the good thing about the truth, it makes sense and is easy to follow. This, well…

Regarding this Polish friend where SaW couldn't visit because they don't speak English, am I the only one who cant stop laughing at the idea of a friend who you would visit regularly but doesn't share a language. Im not a betting man but i'd guess Bea didn't speak Polish :D
So someone in the house speaks English or they simply don't exist!

Anyone else thinking that Sarah throwing up in the loo was 'oh shi t! The game's up, I'm going to jail' and not 'what's that you say officer, you think Scott murdered my daughter' ...

Good theory . Was wondering why they bought a new sim card

It was the ex boyfriends house and it was his mum who didn't speak English. I still don't understand why that would stop SW from checking if BW was there. But we know the text from BW phone saying she was staying at a friend's house wasn't sent by BW because she didn't have her phone.
