Weather SW was under duress or was willing, it does not change the facts that she kept up the charade of her child being missing when she knew she was dead. Scott testified that some of the texts sent from Bee’s phone were Sarah’s idea. She took late night drives knowing what they were doing. There may not have been enough evidence which is why the joint enterprise charge was dropped, but even during the trial she offered nothing new. Why would she worry about being under duress now? She could have filled in a lot of blanks on those drives they took but all she said was she was asleep! She isn’t giving up anything because it will prove her guilt. Moo

There was no DV here, he wouldn’t have let her have a new partner if so yes he pushed her by a motorbike once but no way a fella with DV would let them have a partner

If a verdict isn’t reached today I can’t imagine a unanimous verdict coming, maybe the judge will allow a majority but if not then a hung jury becomes more and more likely. The more time that goes by the lees I feel like a guilty verdict will be reached sadly.

B hasn’t been seen since she was picked up by ScW, SaW had her phone and sent misleading texts to her friends and herself. B would not have ‘ran off’ without her phone, and her back pack was found at the garage/lock up. These facts alone are what draws me to the only conclusion- Bernadette was murdered by Scott, with Sarah being complicit and perverting the course of justice by fabricating evidence and being a bare faced liar. JMO

Clearly she isn't talking as she's hiding something huge and will be found even more guilty if she talks.

But that's doesn't change the fact that there's documented DV from Scott to Sarah that that probably swayed how the police handled the situation.

Believe me if I was under arrest for even being connected with the murder of my own daughter I would be on that stand shouting from rooftops the abuse I recieved from that man and show exactly what he was capable of. Why does she not voice her opinion but let's others voice them like her sons and friend. Why doesnt she stabd there and say exactly what this man is capable of ... why doesnt she fight her daughters corner...

I'm thinking (hoping) that the length of time the jury are taking is due to the charges against SaW, like the jury in the Soham Murder trial in 2003

Still doesn't mean she wasn't a victim of DV.

Because not noticing or turning a blind eye to your child being sexual abused by your partner is a huge huge huuuge failure to protect.
