I want to see her mug shot.

My thoughts are with Bea and her siblings today, cannot imagine what their thoughts and feelings are right now, so sad :(
Hopefully the younger ones are blissfully unaware and settled into their new lives. Hopefully the older ones now have some closure and and start to move forward and block this evil pair from their lives.

Delighted with the outcome. Anyone know if they were both in court to hear the verdict?

  • #584
It would be great if they revisited the charges they dropped on Sarah and charge her again. MOO

  • #585
Why is there no news reports on Sarah’s guilty verdict ?!

He wasn't, I don't know about her.

MOD NOTE

To help keep this thread open for continuing discussion of this tragic case, please heed the following guidelines that are part of the Terms of Service we ALL agreed to when we joined:

- No bickering/arguing/debating with other members. If you see a post that does so, PLEASE REPORT IT and DO NOT RESPOND TO IT.
- ANY INFO stated as FACT must include a link to that info in MSM. If you find a post that does not include a link to info posted as fact PLEASE REPORT IT instead of replying and asking for a link. That has proved to be unsuccessful in this thread, and has only resulted in back and forth bickering posts that have all had to be cleaned up.
- Posts that include a proliferation of personal pronouns are often a sign that the post has become more about members and not about the victim(s) in this case. If you are using the words like I me we us our my mine you yours etc. there is a good chance that you are veering OFF TOPIC by making your post about something other than this case. It also constitutes PERSONALIZATION against specific members or WS membership as a whole. Both these issues are also violations of TOS.

Best advice - please review each post before you click REPLY to be sure you are in compliance with TOS. Members that repeatedly violate TOS and ignore warnings given will find themselves with a temporary or permanent loss of posting privileges.

THANK YOU for your efforts to post respectfully and responsibly. We are always happy to answer any questions you may have about the rules. Websleuths standards are intentionally higher than most of the other discussion forums on the internet. If you find these standards difficult to follow, it it suggested that you go elsewhere to find a site more suitable to your needs.

Faithfully,

Does anybody know of a time the judge has given the jury X time without doing jury duty?

thanks to the top notch members who put some great information up.

for those in the know, if Scott now admitted he killed her would he be in a worse situation? I watch a lot of US court style stuff, if he was to barter with them for leniency if he told them where the body was could this reduce the sentence?

  • #589
What sentence is she likely to get? I seem to recall Maxine Carr got three and a half years for PCJ. Wonder if SaW will be given a new identity too after...

That's a good question and I'm wondering the same.

I'm wondering why the murderer and his accomplice chose to leave the victims diary available for police to see.

Bernadette Walker Murder Trial; Lies from defendants were ‘nothing short of wicked’

"When he arrived, he was told that Bea was still maintaining that he had sexually abused her."

  • #595
Is it though ? Their searching was poor, they still treated it as a missing persons investigation with all the information at hand of sexual abuse etc etc it wasn’t until the combined police force major crimes unit took over that they said it was a no body murder and arrested them months later

actually their only searches was what the mum told them, and they didn’t even visit the friends or polish boyfriend. Poking a few hedges in Werrington 3 months on isn’t a search!

maybe this time (with the thought of no parole) the pair of them may start telling the truth

As this was my first 'live' thread, can I just say thank you to all the contributors here that have made the experience such an interesting one. For all the opinions, the fact sharing, the debate and the arguments made and especially to those 'sleuthers who went to court and those who were willing to go and physically search - thank you everyone!

Looking forward to whatever next thread we 'get together' on!

R.I.P Bernadette

It’s been a good thread and a good crew. I hope it’s a long time before my city is in the news with such a gruesome story. I hope next time our police don’t look like a comedy bunch of inept clowns. And I hope the next real update (after the sentence) is the poor girls discovery and burial.

Not sure I follow. Are you referring to BW saying, 'mum said she'd kill me if I told police' (paraphrasing)?
