I listened to this earlier. It's so sad. Unfortunately, l think she was either beaten or died from an overdose shortly after she was last seen. I really felt for her mum, she is holding on to some responsibility. There was nothing she could have done differently. I think Carmel's limp should have been more widely publicised at the time.
