Always a lot of campervans parked up in the car park near the Fionnphort ferry when I visit, but maybe not so many at this time of year. I assume they are ruling out the possibility that Claire crossed over to the Isle of Iona. I am also assuming that she lives on the Isle of Mull in her campervan. Knockvologan is not far from Fionnphort but Tiroran is around 20 miles by car.

ach never mind can't access posts properly anymore.

Comments from her sister and friends on the police post on this page. Seems she's missing on foot.

People mentioning on the Police Facebook post that Clare liked to do wild swimming.

There is a possibility that she crossed over to Iona via the ferry.

Am I correct in thinking that she was on Mull for a holiday?

Either way, it doesn't look good sadly.

Clare did a lot of travelling and it appears she was on Mull for a winter break.

I wonder if she went for a swim in the sea and got into difficulty? The channel between Mull and Iona has a very strong current.

A comment on one of the police appeals for Clare said that she was a wild swimmer.
