Durham Constabulary are appealing for sightings of missing Curtis Davies.

Curtis, 32 was last seen at around 3.40am on Sunday (June 22) in the Tynedale Walk and Cleveland Avenue areas of Shildon [County Durham].

He is described as being 5ft 8 of slim build with brown hair and stubble and is believed to be wearing a grey t-shirt, blue jeans and white trainers.

In an updated appeal, the police have released CCTV footage of Curtis and given additional details of his clothing and of his last known movements:

Curtis, 32 was last seen in the early hours of Sunday morning (June 22) in the Shildon area.

It is believed Curtis spent Saturday night in Bishop Auckland before being dropped off in a taxi at around 3.20am on Hazledale Avenue in Shildon. He was last seen on CCTV in the Dalton Crescent area at 3.36am.

Curtis is described as being 5ft8, of slim build with brown hair and stubble and is believed to be wearing a grey t-shirt, blue jeans and white trainers.

Specialist search officers are continuing to look for Curtis alongside highly experienced search and mountain rescue teams.

There is sad news coming through about Curtis. Durham Constabulary have posted the following:

We are very sorry to report that a body has been found in the search for Curtis Davies, one of our Durham Constabulary colleagues.

The body was located by specialist search teams in the Shildon area this morning (Sunday, June 29).

Formal identification has yet to take place, but we believe it to be that of 32-year-old Curtis from Shildon.

Curtis’ family have been informed and are being supported.

Help and support is also being offered to Curtis’ friends and work family.
