51-year-old Darren Miller has been missing from Bournemouth since Monday, May 16 (Image: Dorset Police)
There are ongoing searches by police and emergency services to find a Bournemouth man who went missing "'unexpectedly". Dorset Police initially responded to a concern for the welfare of 51-year-old Darren Miller at around 2pm on Monday (May 16).
He was last seen at around 7.40am on the same day in Nutley Way and left the area unexpectedly. Darren is described as white, five feet seven inches tall and of medium build with stubble and black or grey shaved hair. He has ‘love’ and ‘hate’ tattoos on his knuckles and usually walks with a crutch.
Enquiries and searches are continuing in a bid to locate Darren and police officers have been assisted by Dorset Search and Rescue (DorSAR). Officers are asking people to check their bins, sheds or outbuildings for any information or clues for Darren's whereabouts.
Chief Inspector Claire Phillips, of Dorset Police, said: “We are continuing to carry out numerous enquiries to locate Darren as he has not been seen or heard from since the morning of Monday, May 16. I would like to renew my appeal for anyone who has seen Darren, or a man matching the description given, to please get in touch.
“Also, I am appealing to residents in the vicinity of Nutley Way to please check their bins, sheds or outbuildings for any information that may provide us with information as to Darren’s whereabouts..."
