A worried mum has issued a heartfelt plea for her teenage son to come home having been missing for a week. Sharon Farnworth says her son Denholm, 15, left home in Whalley Range (April 25) while she took her mum to a hospital appointment.
His disappearance came the day after the family returned from Mallorca, where they had spent 10 days on holiday. Sharon is 'petrified' for her son, who left home without money or his medication, and she says he has not answered her calls.
"It's been really tough," said Sharon. "I'm petrified that he's going to get into something that he doesn't know how to get out of.
It's believed Denholm, a student at Castlefield Campus, may be in the Gorton area. He is described as 5ft 8ins tall, with blue eyes and of slim build, and Sharon believes he may currently have cornrows in his hair.
Greater Manchester Police has confirmed it is aware of Denholm's disappearance. Anyone who sees Denholm or has information on his whereabouts can contact GMP on 101.
