Two arrested on suspicion of murdering two-year-old boy in Doncaster

"A man and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a toddler in Doncaster, police have said.

Officers called to a house in the village of Adwick at 11am following reports from paramedics that a two-year-old boy was in cardiac arrest.

The child was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died on Thursday afternoon.
A man aged 36 and a woman aged 32, both from Adwick, have been arrested on suspicion of murder."

First picture of Keigan O'Brien, boy at centre of Doncaster murder probe released

"Post Mortem has revealed that the toddler died as a result of head injuries.

Keigan was taken to hospital on Wednesday after emergency services were called to a house on Bosworth Road, Adwick, at about 11am, following reports from the ambulance service that he was in cardiac arrest.
He remained in a critical condition until yesterday afternoon when he passed away.
The tot has been named as Keigan Ronnie O'Brien."

This is awful, has he been beaten to death or could it have been a nasty fall?

I do find it likely he was beaten to death as the two people are arrested but at this stage it seems to be unconfirmed.
