Have you seen Donna Shamoon?

Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for the 51-year-old who went missing from her home in Fishburn at around 12.30pm on Sunday, January 29.

Donna is described as white, around 5ft 4in tall, of slim build and with short blonde hair.

She was last seen wearing a dark blue padded jacket, green trousers with metal cut out hoops down the side and brown boots.

If anyone has any information that could help locate Donna, call 101 quoting incident reference number 260 of January 29.

There is sad news, unfortunately. Durham Police have made the following announcement:

"We are sad to report that officers searching for missing Fishburn woman, Donna Shamoon have this afternoon found a body.

Formal identification has yet to take place, but the family of 51-year-old Donna have been informed.

At this stage, the death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing."
