I had been wondering about the ex/father to the daughter.
It was mentioned on a local community page that her husband was visiting Pakistan and left a week earlier. Also reported on same community page they had no other family locally.
Thanks. Just not seen anything on the official news articles. Only about the Doctor's mother.

After reading some of the articles...I think they might end up being close or at least the other two that were brought in for questioning just because they would of known that the mother and daughter would of been alone.

The alleged rapes x 2, certainly ups the yucky factor, imo.
Quoting to include Vian's father's words -

Probably woman who could not imagine or believe that her husband or partner could have done something like that so she lied about his alibi. Not good but not a rare occurance.
If she indeed knew for a fact and was involved more than fake alibi, well, than it is entirely different story.
Arrested men and Dr Sacharvi are of similar age group so it might have been someone from their community or social circle. Yes, someone who would definitely know that they were alone.
It plays on my mind that she was doctor of mental health patients and that could have been link to perpetrator too but I guess it is less likely.
The age of the suspect stands out to me. IMO, on the surface this is the kind of sex crime of a younger, more desperate man. There might be more to it, such as resentment against a perceived type of woman. JMO
