I wonder if it went like this, he killed the mother to get her out of the way in order to be 'free' to spend time with her daughter. After killing the mother he stole the jewellery & bagged it ready to take home with him later. He then lay in wait for the daughter, and, attempted/possibly succeeded in sexually assaulting her before killing her?
I think he may have sent the photographs of the two victims to his wife, followed by a link to an article about their deaths to frighten her? I.E. This is what will happen to you if you don't provide me with an alibi? MOO

My observation too much loopholes in the investigations, the guy have access of victims home , he could do robbery rather than killing them. And just for £10k worth only ?
What about self isolation ? Why daughter went to school ?
about writing on wall does defendant knows that daughter having COVID symptoms?
how could he write without knowing this?

And regarding wine n shake. Victims must have asked it from builder.

And writing on wall words uses by youngsters. 51 years type people cannot use such kind of language...
And regarding internet detached what does it prove that non internet access.. their direct phone lines open. So internet detachment impact ??

We can only guess as to motive but he arrived at the house just before midday, around the same time Dr Saman sent a work email, and she did not attend an online meeting one hour later. Her body was found in an upstairs bedroom and she died of pressure to the neck. It sounds like he probably made a sexual advance to her. I wonder if the wine was intended for them to share, it doesn't say whether it was opened or not. I wonder when the fuel container was filled, perhaps he kept one in his work vehicle.

Dr was telling him every update that I sent mail to my office / colleagues etc?
She must had shown some resistance, any DNA /forensic evidence reported in favour of victims./ What was the death time of the victims. /And any finger prints on fuel container?

I don't think we know the motive, whether it was for monetary gain or something else. People have killed for a lot less than £10k.

If Khan is doing work at the house I think it would be normal for him to be informed not to come if they had to isolate.

I think you may have to expand on your reasoning, I don't see any reason why it must have been a request from the victims. And it misses the point that this evidence is relevant to putting Khan at the crime scene.

Equally I don't see a 14 year old girl growing up with the English language using the words ''Covid 19 house my mum is evil'' unless there's some evidence of a mental breakdown or a learning disability. And Vian was back in school, not locked up at home.

Saman was working from home. Her internet usage stopped at approximately the same time as Khan arrived. It's relevant to the timeline of events.

I suggest we wait for the witnesses to give evidence. We've only heard the opening speech which outlines the evidence that will be presented during the trial.

The pathologist did not determine either of the deaths to be suicide.

A bit more detail from court yesterday in the Scottish Daily Mail

It says medical experts found Dr Saman may have been subdued with drugs.

A roll of aerial cable was found next to her bed.

The knobs on the gas cooker had been turned on.

Khan's appointment at the house that day was written in Dr Saman's diary.

CCTV cameras filmed Khan arriving at the house with an opened umbrella, which may have been an attempt to conceal his identity. He left unknown items outside the house the previous evening when he purchased the wine and the smoothie.

Vian's calls to her mum before she arrived home from school were unanswered.

Sept 30

Khan buys wine and smoothie, left unkown items outside Dr. S's house in the evening.

Oct 1

Just before 11.50am Khan arrives at Dr. S's house.

11.50am Dr. S's last contact via email.

1pm - 4pm Dr. S fails to attend online training.

1.50pm Wifi is no longer active.

3.25pm Vian returns home from school.

In the afternoon both victims' mobile phones disconnected from their networks.

10pm Khan leaves Dr' S's home.

A friend and a neighbour discover the fire and call police who find the bodies

Oct 4

Khan arrested.

You are not getting my view Let me clear it.
I blindly believe justice system of the country. But understand when discussing the case views should be in larger prospective, the news provided is bleak indirect evidences ,friends conversation, internet disconnected, wall writing, jewellery £10k worth, wine offering to a Asian woman. It’s not connecting towards murder.
My thoughts are ;
What could be the motive ?
Khan is jealous dissatisfied person Monterey or family wise?
Which thing encouraged him to do all this?
And builder must understand he is working there so he will be the first or only suspect .
Moreover why not giving importance that it could be mother daughter understanding issue? Etc etc
