Detectives renew appeal for information about missing Edward Baller

Detectives investigating the disappearance of a vulnerable man missing from Kennington are renewing appeals for information from the public amid fears he may have come to harm.

Searches continue to locate Edward Baller, 79, who left his flat in North Kensington, W10, at approximately 12:00hrs on Saturday, 28 August, to visit a flat he was letting in Wincott Street, Kennington.

He was expected to return to North Kensington but failed to do so and has not been seen or heard from since.

I'm worried about Mr. Baller.:(

The reports aren't clear on whether he made it to the flat he rented out. It'd be nice to know whether the tenants have spoken with LE, and if so, what they have to say. Did Mr. Baller make it there? If so, what was the purpose of his visit? Did he appear to be his "normal" self? Any complaints/oddities in his behavior or demeanor? Also, I'm curious about his mode of travel. Was he walking, biking, driving, Uber?

Detectives are appealing for information about the whereabouts of a man who was last seen in the Kennington area

That's quite the walk - almost 2 hours on foot. I'm betting he got the bus or the tube, maybe the Central line?

Vulnerable man missing from Kennington

Unfortunately nothing new.

At around noon on August 28, Edward left his flat in North Kensington to visit a flat he rented out in Wincott Street, Kennington. He was expected to return to North Kensington but failed to do so.

@YaYa_521 ~ it really would be great if they could answer those questions as the above isn't saying much. I wonder if it's not possible to know if he got there -- if the tenants weren't in or something.

Still no news?

Unfortunately not. I just checked and everything I can see is 2 weeks old. So sad that nothing seems to have come of this.

Did he go there to collect rent ?

I am finding a lot of cases like this are 'disappearing', with the person being found but no police mention. You only come across an outcome by a random post saying they had been found. And that's it.

Apologies for the just realised spelling goofs!

Should have read:
If he has current tenants, have they heard from him?

Sadly, nothing from early September. I can't believe there's nothing

I wonder if that is because he was located? Many, many cases are never given an official police sign off, and you only hear about the end via a one-off social media post.

I hope he has been found because I find myself thinking about this case.

Still nothing that I can find from September.
