Police have issued an appeal to help find a mother and daughter who have gone missing.

Thames Valley Police believe that Elizabeth Doran, aged 93, from Henley, and her daughter Julie Doran, aged 61, from Caversham are in Henley.

After following enquiries, police believe they are in the Oxfordshire town and have asked for help locating them, if any of the public know where they are they should contact police.

Police have not said how long the pair have been missing for.

Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Alex Willis, based at Reading police station, said: “We are appealing for the public’s help in tracing Elizabeth and Julie.

“We are aware that neither of them have returned to their respective homes and we are just wishing to check that they are okay."

THAMES Valley Police is appealing for help tracing two missing women.

It is looking for Elizabeth Doran, 93, from Henley, and her daughter Julie Doran, 61, from Caversham, who are believed to be together in Henley.

Anybody who has seen them or may know where they are is asked to call Thames Valley Police on 101 and quote reference 43210432484.

At 93, I doubt the mother was on foot, so both must have been in a car, yet no indication of such.

I wonder if the mother was in a care home and the daughter had perhaps visited and been concerned about her mum's well-being?

Renewed police appeal.

Believed to be travelling by bus, and from the new image, the mother is in a wheelchair. Would have thought more chance of spotting.

This latest report this afternoon states they have been missing for 12 days!



Police have released new images of a missing mother and daughter after sightings of them across Oxfordshire and Berkshire.

Elizabeth Doran, aged 93 from Henley, and her daughter Julie Doran, aged 61 from Caversham, were reported missing on September 25 and have now been missing for 12 days.

Thames Valley Police say there have been sightings of them in Henley, Oxford and Reading.
