GUILTY UK - Ellie Butler, 6, brutally murdered, Sutton, 28 Oct 2013 #2

Even if the verdicts come in this coming week, the sentencing may well be adjourned for a period of time, they often are.

And hopefully she will be denied bail.

I've tried to send you a private message but it says you've exceeded your stored capacity. Would you mind clearing out some old messages to make space?

I'd randomly been dragged into an
Online WS chat room! :0
How on earth I don't know as it was an American child murder. But it was all stored in my inbox eating all the data allowance. But I didn't get a notification that it was full more that I'd joined a chat online. Gah!

Sorry. Please feel free. (:

I found an old link... omw 1000s of posts on #1 thread lol..
No mention of Ellie being 'bagged'
the call centre told JG how to give cpr. And to do this until first responders get there.
Then a medical team arrives. Asking questions how long she been like this. How did she fall etc.
Passing over to Ambulance crew. Similar questions asked. When one of the Technicians went to alter Ellie's head position. She found a 'boggy mass' nothing hard where it should be skull there wasn't any. She was taken aback at this.
I'm assuming she moved Ellie's head into a position to fit a 'tube' for ventilated/assisted breathing. Nothing mentioned specifically about being bagged. But it's a possibility Ellie was to put on life support.
Because Ellie was actually pronounced Dead at hospital.

Thanks Gigi, so no specific mention of a bag but nothgin to say there wasn't. I'd feel pretty put out if I were one of the medical staff being accused of leaving the bruises.

BBM

If I'm reading you correctly, I think you might appreciate this Wikipedia page on Mrs Justice Hogg, who was the judge who overturned the original finding of fact against these parents and authorised the girls to go back into their care:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_Hogg

"She retired from the High Court in 2016."

I wonder if her retirement was related to his case, or rather the successful appeal against the previous case, which... some might say... led to this case.

No. There's no specific quote of Ellie being 'bagged' not going back on our old posts anyhow.
Could other MSM of printed it on their write ups?

Or Sky News

She retired THIS year? Wow that's kind of a strange one. I didn't expect that? Did you?
Wonder if that is because all this came to light?
Fascinating!
Great find ColourPurple! (:

She was coming up to the typical retirement age for a high court judge (born January 1947 according to the Wiki link).

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_High_Court_judges_of_England_and_Wales

The number of Justices of the High Court is limited to 108,[n 1] and the Judicial Pensions and Retirement Act 1993 mandates that they, along with other senior judges throughout the UK retire at 70 years of age. Judges appointed before 31 March 1995 are excepted and may wait to retire at 75. Two such remain on the High Court: Mr Justice Collins and Mr Justice Holman.

A mask was placed over her face at the flat - the paramedic noted how it filled with an orange fluid. This was bleeding from her brain. She was intubated when she arrived at hospital.

Also, the trial was only just averted last year. You'd think she would have retired by the if she wanted to be sure to be gone before any publicity.

Possibly. It's just ironic. That this all breaks out and BB has a hissy fit the trial date AND defence team are re- addressed. October last year. We all know (anyone that's into criminal proceedings) that nothing in the Law Society moves quickly. (Unless you have an endless stream of money and it's no object) which led us to the proceedings now some 5/6 months later.
I'm guessing if anything is recorded. It will show itself in the fulness of time.

Can I please take the opportunity to say briefly. As many of us spend hours on just one case researching and archiving. That we are lost in the myriad of scripts.

Please #sendaprayer to those involved in the #Orlando shootings. Such a terrible waste of lives. LE were treating as a terrorist attack. I've been asleep for a few hours since it broke on news channel. So I've not caught up. Even if it's not terrorist. It's a heinous crime. And people's loved ones won't be coming home tonight. Namastè ♡

High court judges have to give at least 6 months notice of retirement they can't just retire as there needs to be sufficient judges available for cases so they can then have the time to promote others to the position so interestingly the time spans do fit re this case.

Great, at least we know judge is summing up. So hopefully jury will go out tomorrow morning. We could have a verdict very soon.

I hope it's as quick a guilty verdict as the Beckly Watts trial.:please:
