He’s married? Dear lord I hope he has no children.
Were they secretly seeing one another? Only motive I can come up with..

Yes he married Israeli girl in 2012 who is conveniently in Israel at the moment with work commitments, he also has a son to a previous marriage which ended in 2011. I am thinking secret relationship too....apparently they have known each other for years.

It could also be they were friends but he wanted more and couldn't take no for an answer. It'll all come out in court eventually I'm sure. Whatever she was involved in doesn't justify her death.

Does this mean he has admitted to murder and wont tell where she is? How can they prove he has murdered her without the body?

Many people are arrested and charged without confession or a body. If there’s enough strong circumstantial evidence (which there seems to be a lot of in this one) coupled with physical evidence, they can still have a very strong case against him. Moo

I don’t think for one minute he’s admitted murdering Emma, I think they have possibly found evidence of something sinister happening at his home, also he claimed he dropped Emma & her dog home but neighbours gave statement saying he only dropped the dog off - no sign of Emma. Also he was seen driving her car at Morrison’s & her car arrived back at her property by 7.30am on the Monday. Along with statements he had changed cars & went missing for a day & that he was seen packing several sealed bags into his car. Combined with the fact that Emma is still missing & hasn’t been seen or heard from since Sunday 28th at 9.10pm in his company.

Ayrshire police just posted an update. Sounds like they believe her body is somewhere between Girvan and Newton Stewart. This is a vast and isolated area but hopefully they will get dashcam footage to narrow it down.

DISAPPEARANCE / DEATH OF EMMA FAULDS - KILMARNOCK

Detectives searching for missing person Emma Faulds from Kilmarnock have been conducting enquiries in the South Ayrshire, Dumfries and Galloway border in an attempt to locate her body.

Police are keen to trace the movements of motor vehicles on the A714 Girvan to Newton Stewart road on Monday 29th and Tuesday 30th April 2019. They are particularly interested in sightings of Jaguar and Mercedes type vehicles.

Detectives are urging people to think back and consider if they saw something a little odd or out of place on Monday 29 April and Tuesday 30 April 2019 in the area of Barrhill, particularly along the A714.

Detective Chief Inspector Martin Fergus said:

“This is a harrowing time for Emma’s family. They are in shock and are in the process of dealing with the fact that Emma will not be coming home. I am therefore seeking the public’s help in trying to find Emma’s body.

“I am appealing for anyone who may have been travelling along the A714, either north or south between Girvan and Newton Stewart. Did you see something a little odd or out of place, perhaps you noticed a car in a lay by, do you remember anything which struck you as odd at the time?

“I am also keen to speak to anyone who travels this route regularly, northbound or southbound. If any motorists have dash cams, please check the footage as it may have captured something which could prove vital to our ongoing enquiries to locate Emma.”

Poor Emma and her poor family, seems like the police are certain they are looking for her body. Let’s hope she’s found soon to give her family some closure and allow them to grieve. So many lives ruined, so sad!

This reminds me of the murder case where the woman's body was buried somewhere in Argyll. She was never found, but her ex-lover was found guilty of her murder.

Deceased/Not Found - UK - Suzanne Pilley, 38, Edinburgh, 4 May 2010 *D. Gilroy guilty*

I was re-reading about this case last night as it's kind of similar. The police knew for certain that Suzanne was dead as dogs picked up the scent of death plus Giltoy had injuries consistent with strangling someone.

I would guess there must be very similar evidence in this case too.

Yep, and his vehicle had damage to its underside which was evidence of him going offroad. I believe they narrowed the area down to between Inveraray and Lochgilphead.

If you Google Ross Willox twitter there is some chatter alluding to some history with Ross. I can't post link as will break rules. Theres no content just that people may find out information in the coming months that would surprise those who knew Ross.
