We are appealing for information to help trace 60-year-old Fiona Thomson who has been reported missing from Dalgety Bay.

The last contact with her was around 8.20pm on Monday, 12 December, 2022.

She is described as white, 5ft 8in, with shoulder length blonde hair, and has tattoos on her wrists.

Anyone with information that may help trace Fiona can contact police on 101 quoting incident number 3411 of 12 December, 2022.

Officers in Dalgety Bay are renewing an appeal to trace 60-year-old Fiona Thomson who remains missing in the area.

The last contact with her was around 8.20pm on Monday, 12 December, 2022.

She is thought to have been in the Harbour Place area of the town.

Fiona is described as white, 5ft 8in, with shoulder length blonde hair, and has tattoos on her wrists.

Inspector Tony Rogers said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and I would urge anyone who believes they may have seen Fiona at any time since Monday to get in touch as a matter of urgency.

“She not been seen or heard from since which is out of character, and concern is growing for her welfare.

“Fiona has previous links to the Dundee, Edinburgh and Midlothian areas, and we are also appealing to anyone in those areas who may have seen her to contact us.

“We would also be keen to identify anyone who knows her, who may have knowledge of where she may be.

“Anyone with information can call 101, quoting reference 3411 of 12 December, 2022.”

 
A body has been found on a Scots beach amid the search for a missing woman.

The discovery was made in Gullane, East Lothian at 7.50am today. Although formal identification is yet to take place, the family of Fiona Thomson has been informed.

The 60-year-old was reported missing 42 miles away in Dalgety Bay in Fife on Monday, December 12. Officers say there are thought to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
