close protection officers
FBI
metropolitan police
politicians
civil servants
The entire workforce of Fleet street

anyone think of any more "wise monkeys" here?

The press (just as with the Savile case) all pretending that these stories are revelations to them

whole damn lot makes me want to gag

Man sends Christmas card to a friend!

Whatever next?

Most families send out similar cards, nothing weird or disgusting about the card.

This is where many people are getting it wrong, IMO.

Go after AMW for his criminal activity, leave the more normal stuff alone.

IMO. MOO

It is soooo weird to send pictures of kids as Season Wishes.

How strange! 🤔

I guess it is "cultural difference"
as in my country in Europe we send cards dedicated to Festive Season
(Christmas 🎄 for example).

Never photos of family members.

For me it is especially creepy
as JE was a sexual pervert
and to send him pictures of daughters who are young women is sooooo BIZARRE 😵‍💫

Update from another police force @SurreyPolice today:
They have been -assessing claims made about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor in Thorpe, Surrey.“Following a review of our systems using the limited information available to us, we can find no evidence of these allegations being reported to Surrey Police.”The force is now asking US Dept of Justice for UNREDACTED versions of the files …

Nor did I but AMW is a different kettle of fish.

I like to think I choose my friends wisely.

When it comes to children being together with their parents on Christmas cards sent by members of Royal families, not just by the British royals, is very common. I follow a Royal Forum, and I can't remember once seen a Royal Christmas card without all the family members on the photo. If someone was missing, there would be lots of questions "what has happened, why isn't X on the photo?" not only on the forum, but also in the media following royal families.

Those Christmas cards are sent to most likely hundreds of people, as well as organisations, and charities, who are in some way connected with the members of the family, and sent out by their secretaries, not the royals themselves. The names, even if it looks as if being written by hand, are printed on the cards.

The card to Epstein may, or may not, have been sent by Andrew and/or Fergie, with an additional greeting, but to know for real, the card would need to be compared to other Christmas cards sent by the Yorks that year.

"It comes after a former officer claimed
that ‘certain members’ of the Royalty and Specialist Protection (RaSP) command
may have witnessed abuse at Little St James.

Andrew’s protection team travelled with him on at least two occasions to the island,
including a trip on Epstein’s private jet which had been dubbed the Lolita Express.
......
'We used to say they were
‘more royal than the Royals’.
Some of them started to wear signet rings and talking and behaving more like members of the Royal Family
than a police officer'.

'They seemed more loyal to the Royal Family than to the Met
- and that’s wrong'."

Excuse me? I am not sure you actually know much about our Royal family. William and Kate at least DID have serious studies! As most know that is how they met!

Also apart from school holidays maybe they are doing engagements most days and when not they as patrons of many many patrons have to deal with paperwork etc.
In my opinion, the Kate and William's studies do not match the studies of Princess Beatrix's children. We are talking about serious studies in History, Engineering, and advanced degrees. Kate studied Art History I believe, and William studied Geography. On the other hand, the king of the Netherlands even wrote a dissertation on foreign policy. With all due respect, I would call William and Kate's studies respectable, but not spectacular. And Beatrix's children got actual jobs, and so did their spouses. OK, Wilhelm Alexander did not because he was groomed for succession, but he did some very serious studies too.

Even then, William wanted to drop out.

It was said he was overwhelmed.
