And there is a private yacht out there searching, and the skipper thinks dolphins are sending him messages??

Mind you, they have been known to help out people in distress, so maybe....

'I didn't expect so many people to sign it but now everybody has. We are just saying a big thank you to everybody who signed the petition.' (Skipper Andrew Bridge's 12 year-old cousin).

'So many people have been so kind. You don't realise how many friends you have until something like this happens.' (Andrew's brother, William).

I have no problem with this ;)
If it was me, I'd be writing the messages/coordinates down :D

What ever will bring them home.

Thanks Wondergirl for posting the new map :)

Trust the Daily Wail to lead with a headline like that ... honestly!

The only thing that concerns me about the small, private craft joining the search, is that one of them might get in trouble.

Evoking the spirit of the 1940 evacuation of Dunkirk by a fleet of ‘little ships’, about 40 private yachts are heading to the area where the stricken boat is thought to have drifted since it capsized on Friday.

The boats joining the search include a group of eight yachts and a further 32 vessels from Antigua, many of which have been competing in regattas across the Caribbean.
The skippers of a further 35 yachts taking part in a rally organised by the World Cruising Club have also been asked for help.

I really hope they do locate and recover the overturned boat. I am quite dismayed that it has taken this long to get people out there searching again, but, at least it is being done. Still no update on Tomnod. I will keep checking.

I wonder if the private searches are being co-ordinated and charted by anyone? I hope so.

So are those two co-ordinates where the hull was sighted and where the beacon was last picked up?

I've watched an (historical) boat being rebuilt from the bottom up - but I still don't know the difference between the Hull and the Keel.

I'm finding this waiting hard - heaven only knows what the families are going through. I hope someone will be around 11.30pm Boston time, to catch the update from the coastguard. Though I guess we will hear immediately if survivors are found.

Praying these guys are found safe. People have survived in the ocean with less than what they have going for them. I think it's entirely possible that they're still alive and hope they're found.

Still no update from Tomnod. I'm hoping they'll start uploading images by tomorrow.
