We are urgently seeking to locate Gareth, 55, who has been reported missing from Polegate.

He is last believed to have been in Eastbourne town centre earlier on Saturday, April 8.

Gareth is a stocky white man, 6’1, with grey hair, and usually wears tracksuit bottoms, a T-shirt, jacket and trainers.

Officers are concerned for his welfare.

Anyone who sees him or knows his whereabouts is asked to call 999 and quite serial 1151 of 08/04.

We are saddened to report that the body of Gareth Garvey has been located.

He was previously reported missing from Polegate in early April.

His next of kin have been informed.

The death is not being treated as suspicious, and a report will be prepared for HM Coroner.

Gareth's family and officers have thanked the public for their help to find him.
