UK UK - Georgina Gharsallah, 30, Worthing, 7 March 2018

I think that is where the hotel angle is mentioned.
I expect the name of the hotel where Georgina went and sat a few days before her disappearance will remain confidential as it was not mentioned in the podcast. It is something I do keep wondering about. Did Georgina meet someone there on that night? I kind of feel that this is an avenue to further explore. Any leads as to what could have happened with Georgina after the last CCTV sighting at Chapel Road Worthing seem to have been sadly exhausted. In my opinion either something happened to Georgina at private residence in Worthing or she went further afield after Chapel Road, either in a car or by train. As her disappearance was not reported straight away I am not sure if they kept all the CCTV at the station. West Worthing station is always a possibility as easier for fare dodging if the ticket office is closed in my opinion so could easily go unnoticed.

Does anyone know if the person who sent grisly messages to Georgina's family that she had been cremated by a drugs gang was ever tracked down. It seems a very strange barrage of messages as Georgina showed no physical signs of someone on hard drugs at all. In fact in all the photos of Georgina and the shop CCTV footage her appearance is very attractive and not the kind of worn out face associated with the lifestyle of someone owing drugs money.

There is also the case of the lady seen arguing with two men outside Tesco Express in Tarring Road. This was later ruled out as another lady who looked similar to Georgina although my understanding is that Georgina's family thought she looked nothing like her and the whole event sounds a bit dubious.

I was watching the BBC documentary about crime gangs and kidnappings where often there can be a mistaken identity. Could this have happened here and Georgina met with some kind of foul play due to a mistaken identity.
Brutality of Manchester's organised crime gangs laid bare - victims tortured

Trafficked? This woman is 30 years old! Traffickers have no interest in 'elderly' women! Those people are only interested in girls and boys from about 7 years old until about 15-16; they need to be young enough to control, and also, those who want the services of a trafficked person really are interested in kids - think people who go to Thailand for this. Any 30 year-old involved in the sex industry is there of their own accord; for money, drugs, etc mostly.
I don't agree as whilst she was 30 at the time she didn't look her age at all.

It is interesting to note that Worthing herald have taken down this article and a few others?

The woman that Georgina was with appears to be older and has been shopping for a number of items.

Were these items for Georgina and was she involved in her disappearance.

If this woman was known to friends and family, they would have ben named but have not.
I think it was mentioned on the Help Find Georgina FB page that a lady was named by more than one person. When questioned by police the lady said it wasn't her. I am not sure how much the police checked her movements for that day although she may not have remembered that far back if she was being truthful. I don't think that many people would remember what they were doing on a certain date two years ago.

Has anyone noticed that in the CCTV still of Georgina at the newsagents that she had a carrier bag on the floor and her handbag along with a can of soda.
In the CCTV footage seen that afternoon, she no longer has the carrier bag?
As she hadn't been back home to see her Mum, does anyone know where she would have gone with the groceries that she had purchased at the newsagent / grocers earlier.

Was she purchasing something for someone?

I have seen the same Food and wine shop with 2 different shots of her.
One in the you tube with a time stamp of 10:49 with her walking into the shop, another with a time stamp with her with bags on the ground and a can of soda stamped at 09;39.
Then of course the Media account for the time at 09:30.

What is going on here with the reporting.

Police may well have been criticised but the Media are also doing a pretty shocking job of reporting also.

There are quite a few media articles on 'Press reader' if you are in the UK and able get a library card or have one already.

Looking through 'Press reader' there are some inconsistent comments like in the Yorkshire post it says 'Reward offered over Georgina's killers'. Are crime stoppers really thinking there is more than one killer in this homicide investigation or is it purely a the wording of a journalist suggesting this.
There is one article in Woman's own magazine with an interesting comment that the police took Georgina's hairbrush for DNA testing. Was this to link up with any unidentified Jane Doe's or maybe they felt someone Georgina was meeting with had also used the hairbrush prior to her disappearance. The lady in the Chapel Road CCTV could have exchanged if they met up beforehand to put on make up and prepare for a trip somewhere. Georgina's mother was at work so there is nothing to say that Georgina did not return to the house where there is an unexplained gap between her visit to the newsagents for a Sim Card and the later CCTV sighting in Chapel Road.

Does anyone else who has seen the content with 09:39 have this content that can be shared providing it is within WS site rules of course. I recall thinking as I was going through my research that it seemed odd that both police and media were 10 minutes out (They mention 09:30 as time she goes into shop)
Or
Had she been in earlier at 09:39 and then returned at 10;49?

The YouTube video shows her in the shop and having a long conversation with the guy behind the counter for a full 5 minutes and during that time there were no other customers, which seems rather unusual?
I may watch this again to see if I can spot anyone walking past the shop.

This may be a coincidence but a 36 year old Albanian delivery driver has been arrested in Eastbourne (yet to be charged or released) for the murder of school teacher Sabina Nessa. We know that Georgina had links with Albanian's and could speak the language.

Probably unlikely that Georgina would have known this person. However it is just an observation that he could have been someone who mixed in the same circles if he had any Brighton/Worthing connections (which we will know unless he is charged) so thought worth mentioning.
Here is the link which I omitted in my previous mention:-

Interesting.
Eastbourne is reasonably close to Worthing / Brighton. I couldn't read the whole Times article without a subscription.
Did it say that he resided in Eastbourne or that he was just visiting?

The reason that I ask is because Sabina was murdered in the Borough of Greenwich, London and it suggests that he was a dominos delivery driver there.

Whilst not impossible, The two areas are quite a distance from one another.

The guy arrested for the London murder lived in Eastbourne at least up until a year ago when his marriage broke up. His car was compounded there and he was also arrested in Eastbourne. There is a websleuth discussion on another thread with some more info.

Great,
Thanks or the update on this.

The fact that Georgina stayed in a hotel 3 days before she went missing and lurked in the Hotel lobby until 3am has a case similarity to Leah Croucher.
She had stayed at a Hotel with someone before she went missing and had told her parents she was staying at a different hotel with girlfriends.
Was Georgina supposed to be visiting her dad on the day she was last seen.

Are we able to understand the link with the older woman she was seen on CCTV that afternoon with.

Interesting point. Here is the newspaper article about Leah Croucher.
Do YOU know who Leah Croucher's mystery date was in Milton Keynes this time last year?
It has not been made public where Georgina stayed in Brighton and her intention of visiting the hotel and sitting in the lobby. 'The missing" podcast made no mention of any other details.
At this point travel lodge cannot be ruled out.

I think the Brighton hotel can be ruled out unless Georgina met someone in the lobby and exchanged phone numbers.
I have more clarification and she was waiting for someone she knew who was working late in Brighton. One of the persons male relatives was also staying at the hotel and Georgina felt more comfortable waiting in the lobby. Nothing at all sinister and all above board so no link with Leah Croucher's secretive hotel visit to meet an unknown male.
