Wonder if what he bought at Asda could be relevant.

Was he walking or were the still shots of the cctv from a parking lot?

His car was found a 10 minute drive away in Nantgarw, so likely he went to Asda first in Caerphilly where he lived, then drove.

River Taff nearby.

The family of missing Caerphilly man Glyn Griffiths said they are getting increasingly worried about him, six weeks after he disappeared.

Glyn, 60, was last seen on the evening of Sunday, June 20. Earlier that day, between midday and 12.45pm, CCTV footage showed him outside Asda in Caerphilly.

On Saturday, June 26 Gwent Police issued an appeal to help locate Mr Griffiths' car - a black Suzuki Grand Vitara. It was later found near Heol y Dderwen, Nantgarw locked and with Glyn nowhere in sight.

His cousin, Kathleen Robinson, said Glyn had been a carer for his mum who has dementia since 2016. She said he "idolised" his mum and that it was out of character for Glyn to stop visiting her.

"He would never leave his mum in a million years," the 49-year-old said. "My auntie, who is Glyn's mum, has dementia so our only saving grace is that she doesn't know that he's missing.

"The longer it goes on, the more we're getting worried. It's been absolutely terrible for the family. It's crazy that he hasn't been in touch with any of us. We don't stop wondering where can he be."

Kathleen said she notified the police of her cousin's disappearance on Wednesday, June 23 after a close friend of Glyn's raised concerns that he hadn't seen him for a few days. When the family checked on Glyn's mother, they discovered he hadn't been there since June 20 to giver her medication - which he never usually missed.

Kathleen said: "At first I thought, 'no Glyn can't be missing'. We thought maybe he had gone down to stay with his mum for a break. We saw him [a few days] before he went missing and he was his normal jokey self.

"His phone is completely dead and he hasn't used his bank card or his mother's bank card - because he has power of attorney. We and the police are checking every day, we call hospitals, check mental health wards and police stations but we've heard absolutely nothing. It's not like him at all."

Family of man missing since June say it's getting 'harder and harder'
