They are not gay tropes, they are researched and evidence based fact with a hint of hearsay which is taken with a pinch of salt.

It’s Glasgow it’s a big city with a murky underbelly. It’s quite clear that the level of investigation and the FACT someone has been dismembered

Looks like there is media gag now anyway, and a correction needed looks like James mcginty has been given bail and not remanded as previously stated. So if he has turned witness on the gorbals neighbour it would explain his bail and the media gag, lots of previous articles have been edited and redacted but no evidence of a section 4(2) gag so looks like a crown press directed gag, so 1 he’s turned witness 2 he’s been charged pending court date 3 the govan neighbour has been apprehended.

My theory here is he’s turned witness it explains the bail as oppose to remand.

Tricky but not impossible to get there by bus from Glasgow, would have to go to either Tarbet or Inverbeg then walk about an hour south or north along the A82, I think. The Citylink buses up that way aren’t cheap. At first I thought suicide but with the amount of time police are apparently spending at the scene it seems more likely that he was transported there?
He might normally travel around Glasgow by bus but it's not impossible that he'd travel up to Tarbet by train. It's only about £16 one way.

His family/friends said he had no money for that trip. Graham came there in pieces not by his own accord would be far more likely. BTW if that Mcginty guy had any interaction or even vaguely would be a friend of a friend that knows the neighbor he would be under protection if you look at what happened to Graham (maybe Lewis) due to the neighbor. Any witness of a vanishing man with a fake name is something you need to protect,

Looking like he was dead before he was put in the water, and you would have cctv from bus or train arguably?

Don’t think he has a fake name, think they know exactly who he is, he just got a van on a fake name

I actually learned today that Cathkin Braes are a very well kent hotspot for gentlemen who like to meet other gentlemen for outdoor adult activities. As is Firkin Point car park, aka 'F***ing Point' car park apparently! Every day is a school day.
There was actually a fairly well known case nearly 25 years ago where a former police officer, Gordon Gibson, was killed at the car park at Cathkin Braes, before his car was dumped elsewhere.

3 men were arrested but none convicted.

If you ignore the salacious tone, (and the factual inaccuracies; Gibson was killed in a random attack) this article from the time summarises the initial investigation, and makes repeated references to the Braes as a pick up spot.

Funny you mention this I think someone else mentioned this, earlier so I looked in to it firkin point being a “cruising scene” in the gay community, but if you link the Calderglen Torrance house body find, this is also known as a “cruising scene”. Bit weird both with road access and near water and cruising scenes defo same m.o. for dump

I'm not too sure about that. The police has gone & arrested a lot more on a lot less or put the name out there when they wanted to find a suspect. Here you have some strong circumstantial evidence, why would you let him run wherever, probably giving him the opportunity to lose more evidence, maybe murder somebody else & just say nothing, not 1 word to the public about the name of possible suspect, you would want to have in custody sooner than later. It wouldn't do much if they know where he is now, when he went on the run & ditched everything & the police themselves said he vanished.
Maybe they don't know what to say to the public. you can't say "there was a guy who probably murders & we have no clue who or where he is or we can't even find all his victims" That would be almost a scandal.

They finally arrested him for Graham but only for defeating the ends of justice so for the dumping. Maybe Lewis is completely unrelated. That's good they went through everything. Hell maybe Graham was an accident & he just panicked & dumped him stupidly.

Well 12 hours custody and court date before we get a name, but should be getting more updates etc once named

So it probably was just very stupid coincidence with Lewis. That happens & it's good the cops looked into it. They did their due diligence. Cause all too often they assume & here they only arrested him for dumping the body cause they can't prove murder (yet). That's how it should be. Of course Lewis & whoever hurt him, got an advantage out of this. But you can't always know those things in advance.

Still think lots of twists to come, until he is charged it will stay vague, but it’s likely to be a no comment interview
