Very interesting. I am going to leave my earlier post up for now though. We'll see what happens, I guess.

"Police are still searching for one of the two people believed to have launched Wednesday's attack outside the British parliament building, assistant editor of the Daily Telegraph newspaper Christopher Hope tweeted, citing senior government sources.

A BBC journalist said two assailants were believed to have been in a vehicle involved in the attack."

Serious Question....

Is this man considered a Radical Islamic Terrorist?

IMOO.

IMO he's a terrorist who has twisted a religion - along with others - to achieve his own goals. He has as much to do with Islam as Westboro has to do with Christianity, the IRA had to do with Catholicism or FLDS has to do with LDS.

We're not at war with Islam. Remember they kill more Muslims than non-Muslims.

Unless there are in fact two separate men involved, I do not believe the man shown as a suspect on that stretcher is the man being named here. The face, skin tone and body type appear to be very different, IMHO.

First reports (from the DM I believe) said the suspect was a middle aged Asian man.

Without knowing any people of that description--(and no I do not want to Google that) I still do not think this is accurate ,at least not in this link :https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/3151786/london-terror-attack-parliament-car-pedestrians-westminster/

There we go.

Forgive me if I say I find it hard to stomach the suspected perp being treated to save his life. :(
I understand the paramedics have to treat all equally.

A police officer and a woman have been killed near Parliament in central London in what Scotland Yard are treating as a terrorist incident.

Will wait to hear more news . I'm thinking he's a possible radical Islamist terrorist of some sort -- not necessarily affiliated with ISIS. Just seems like that style of attack. IMO.

My utmost condolences to the families of the victims for this unspeakable , vile act.

I'm not convinced the attacker has been identified for sure yet.

He will, of course, be identified. Just not sure we know as of now.

And, there might be more than one....still not totally confirmed.

Everything there must be a mess and IDing him is probably low on the list, especially if he's dead. There are a lot of people who need attention and care.

#Rumour: That's all over twitter at the moment.

That may be an out of date report - they're saying only one on the BBC right now.

The description of "Asian" in England isn't quite the same as how Americans use the word. "Asian" in England can include people we might call "Middle Eastern."

Could a Brit online clarify? We Americans use "Asian" primarily to describe people from the Far East like Japan, China, Korea, etc. What about you?

I'm not buying it. I suspect there were others involved. MOO.

I mean the rumour it's not the person who has been named, as we've been speculating here.

Isn't this what happened in Nice or Berlin? It took awhile to figure out how many were involved.

Asian = Indian, Pakistani etc

'In Britain, the word "Asian" usually refers specifically to people of South Asian ancestry (Pakistanis, Indians, Bangladeshis and Sri Lankans)'

UK's Channel 4 News forced to backtrack on claims jailed ‘hate-preacher’ was behind London attack

"Channel 4 claimed Abu Izzadeen also known as Trevor Brooks from Hackney in London was the suspect.

Claims soon followed that he is in fact currently serving time in jail."

We'll need some patience with the breaking news. Dust will settle, but for now, nothing is clear.

I am honestly surprised to hear that 2 people died on the bridge. I saw at least 3 who looked.....really bad. I am thinking one may have accidentally been hit by a bus while trying to get away, perhaps.

I keep posting the same thing. They are not the same person.

RSBM

Oh, wow. Really ?
He doesn't LOOK like he's Asian.
Wonder if there were two attackers and this was one of them ?

Or is he just an innocent bystander ?
If so-- I hope he will be O.K. !!

I haven't seen the news give such conflicting reports in quite a while ---first they report one thing-- then another !
Sheesh. Get your facts in order before printing or tweeting the news.

Journalistic integrity and all that. Smh.
