GUILTY UK - Hugh Henry & Roland Wright for student sex abuse, Farnham, Bucks, 2001

An 82 year old ex-teacher, Hugh Henry, has been found dead on railway tracks in Amersham in the UK, the day before he and the ex headteacher were to be sentenced for child sex crimes. One parent told how the headmaster laughed at her when she relayed her fears her son was being abused.

Caldicott Preparatory School is an exclusive one where alumni include high profile figures such as Nick Clegg, the UK's Deputy Prime Minister.

The former headmaster, 83 year old Roland Peter Wright, is still due to be sentenced tomorrow.

Wright has received an eight year sentence. Good article detailing the extent of his crimes at link. I just heard a police officer involved in the investigation in a radio interview. He spoke of their determination to prosecute child sex offenders, no matter how historical. He urged victims to come forward because 'you will be believed'.
