Man grabbed baby from mother's arms in 'attempted abduction' on train

A relative of the baby girl managed to grab her back from the suspect, who left the train at Barnsley

''Police have released a CCTV image of a man after a baby girl was snatched from her mother’s arms on a train in Nottinghamshire.

Detectives are investigating the attempted abduction of the baby, which happened at around 7.30pm on Saturday, 17 August.

British Transport Police (BTP) said the suspect grabbed the baby as the woman was preparing to leave the train with her child as it approached Worksop station in Nottinghamshire.''

Worksop: Appeal after stranger on train grabs baby from mum

Police say the man "took off" down the carriage before one of the baby's relatives got her back.
