They've obviously got some kind of records, to know about the way she was lured... Maybe through Airbnb they can link the account of the perpetrator to a credit card and identity?

Someone of the same name also comes up with projectcasting.com, a platform for actors.

He would have been around 16 at the time of this murder, which is somewhat surprising, given the circumstances of this crime. IMO

The Chinese-Thai businesswoman had been living in the UK for 12 years and had been renting out the property as an Airbnb.
At an inquest held in April of last year, DCI Alison Foxwell confirmed that the alleged suspect was believed to have fled the UK. The suspect is thought to have used a holiday rental app to impersonate a potential tenant for Ms Thiamphanit’s townhouse before allegedly stabbing the 27-year-old to death.
It is understood the individual accused of Ms Thiamphanit’s murder had been linked to several crimes in other countries before his detention, according to The Times.

Man extradited to the UK as part of murder investigation​

A man has been charged with murder following his extradition from the United Arab Emirates to the UK.

The charge relates to the stabbing of 27-year-old Kamonnan Thiamphanit, which took place in Westminster in 2024.

Kamonnan, who was also known as Angela, was found by police at her home address in Stanhope Place, W2 at around 08:30hrs on Monday, 8 April 2024. She was located with multiple stab wounds and sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Since the launch of the investigation, Met officers have carried out a significant number of enquiries.

On Friday, 24 April police successfully extradited Enzo Bettamio, 18 (20.08.2007), of no fixed address on a flight from Dubai to the UK. This followed joint enquiries by the Met and specialist lawyers in the CPS’s extradition and International Units.

Bettamio was formally charged with Angela’s murder the next day.

He will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 25 April.

Angela’s family are aware of the update and continue to be supported by specialist officers.

Detective Chief Inspector Alison Foxwell, who is leading the investigation said: “I would also like to express my sincere thanks to Angela’s family and friends for their patience and unwavering support to the investigation, throughout what has been an incredibly difficult and distressing time for them.”

A woman who was stabbed to death in her luxury £4million Marble Arch mansion suddenly left her friend's 'murder mystery board game' party in the hours before she died to deal with an undisclosed 'emergency', it is claimed.

Loved ones of Kamonnan Thiamphanit, a dual Thai and Chinese-Hong Kong national also known as Angela, say she departed a gathering of friends in an Uber at 4am on April 6 after announcing she had to deal with an issue at the Hyde Park property.

Her boyfriend Chris Zeng, also 27, has also claimed her iPad had played violent rap music on her television for five hours before and after her disappearance including songs with lyrics about knife and gun violence.

... a trawl of her search history uncovered music his girlfriend 'would never listen to' being played from her home between the hours of 2.38am and 7.26am on April 6.

Metadata showed that the music was paused twice during this time, while it is believed that Angela was killed sometime after 6.15am.

'All she said was that he seemed to be very rich, had flown to London on a private jet and had a child. That was it.'

Angela called Mr Zeng after the meeting and informed him that the mystery man was 'very happy' with the house and had also expressed an interest in renting it for up to three months, meaning she stood to make £90,000.

Bettamio, 18, of no fixed address, [...] appeared in court wearing a grey, prison-issue tracksuit and spoke only to confirm his name and date of birth.

No plea was entered and Bettamio was remanded into custody to appear at the Old Bailey on April 28.
